did kodi on windows crash as well?
Those errors are just due to the bad url your using.
eg. http://pl1cdn.tv:8880/1316/mono.m3u8?token=955665fef9c2626958r5e62 is giving you 403 error.
But, it should start playing the next channel or again skip that if bad.

Yes, crashed as well.
This time I have seen it tried to skip to another channels but since they all had 403 error it eventually crashed at the end

Oh. How many 403 channels is there? I was only testing with 2x bad channels in a row. Maybe I need to test with more...

latest update to slyguy common should stop skipping to next after 10x fails in a row.
also should be a bit more of a delay between skipping to hopefully stop kodi crashing

@matthuisman, thanks for this usefull addon. I'm primarily using it for loading the EPG.
I'm using a couple of Android devices for IPTV. For loading the EPG I have to be cautious, because my EPG service (m3u4u.com) prohibites to update the EPG too frequently.
Therefore I would like to see the following feature: to update/merge the EPG/Playlist only at a specific custom time, i.e. 12:00 AM or 12:00 PM. The ideal scenario is that the merge is executed only when the device is on. When an update is missed, the procedure should not rerun automatically when I power ony device.
Any idea if this is possible?

In the addon settings, you can set the time between merges. Just set that to 24hrs. It won't retry a failed playlist
IPTV Merge - MB1968 - 2022-03-04
I have it set to 24hrs but that does not fix my issue. One of my devices has a dual boot system, Android and CoreElec. The mru4u.com website already banned me twice, because I did not notice that the merge procedure on CoreElec followed to short after the merge procedure on Android. Therefore I would like to see the option to execute the merge procedure on a constant time.
