RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - ashlar - 2016-12-07 And there was much rejoicing! Man is this IMO the smoothest playback I have ever gotten with DSPlayer. The core code of Krypton has probably a lot to do with that too. Talguy, for now I have code update in git with master.... 32 bits https://github.com/kodibrasil/xbmc/tree/Krypton_dsplayer 64 bits https://github.com/kodibrasil/xbmc/tree/Krypton_dsplayer_x64 RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - vicmanpergar - 2016-12-07 Thanks Wanilton RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - walburg - 2016-12-07 (2016-12-05, 00:14)walburg Wrote: After a couple of months using this dsplayer kodi I still have the following problems: Bump, i really have no idea what to do, it's very annoying... Thank you for the support, Wanilton! RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Knight77 - 2016-12-08 With the last update (really appreciated BTW ) I have a problem: in settings I cannot enter in the library menu, I click, hear the sound but it stay in the general settings menu and doesn't enter in library. EDIT: understood that it's my skin (Arctic Zephyr) that still has that voice but actually is not like this with Kodi v.17. Hope we can get some binaries if you have the time RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Talguy - 2016-12-08 (2016-12-07, 23:51)JoshDi Wrote: Any updated setup installation file? Guys, @Wanilton typically does builds when the Kodi mainline increments to new versions like Beta 6, 7, RC1, 17.0, etc. Per Kodi GitHub Beta 7 is not due till December 18th but that can always shift to the right if the core developers are having issues. So we should see a Beta 7 build possible after that for DSPlayer. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Sylus - 2016-12-08 wasn´t there a guy who wanted to pick up development, but had problems to get the dsplayer to Krypton. Maybe he is interested again, but I dont remember his name, otherwise I would PM him. Kodi 17 Beta 6 DSPlayer is available to download in this thread, a few pages back. The 32-bit version works excellent on my two HTPCs. I feel so jealous guys, madVR crashes for me with some madhcnet32.dll error. Weird enough, it works perfect in Jarvis. Edit: Ok, don't ask me why, installing it into a different partition worked for me, woohoooo! RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - quixote23 - 2016-12-08 I have a question. Prior to the Krypton 17 DSPlayer release, I was using playercorefactory.xml (or the built-in rules) to send all videos encoded with .aac to DVDPlayer instead of DSPlayer (weird quirk of my system, short answer is that after hours and hours of fighting with it I found that this was the easiest solution.) However, Krypton changes the name of DVDPlayer to VideoPlayer. I've tried changing this in playercorefactory.xml (just replacing 'DVDPlayer' to 'Videoplayer' for the relevant rules) but Kodi is still defaulting to DSPlayer when I try to play those files. Does anyone know what the default video player should be called now? Should I be creating a new player entry here even though it wasn't necessary before, and what would that look like?
