Good thanks, that sounds promising! Smile

It's now somewhat better with build #0202 but there are still issues with some DVDs (black screen instead of the DVD menu). Also there are issues with some blurays (black screen when trying to play the movie). I can't reproduce this on a PC with current Kodi master.

The issue is reproducible only with LAN SMB playback. Tried to play the problematic DVDs from a USB drive and they play with no issues.

Update: I tested the wrong DVD. The issue is also present with the local playback.

64KB chunk size too much?

SMB chunk size doesn't make a difference this time. Looks like something is broken after those stereoscopics manager commits.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - smp1 - 2018-02-04

I was wrong about LAN playback - the issue is present with both local and LAN playback.
Here are a couple of samples:

Sample 1 (DVD): black screen instead of DVD menu. Used to work with older builds.
Sample 2 (BD): menu works but when you start the movie there is only a black screen with audio. It works only if the movie is started from "Select playback item". There were no issues with older builds (pre-0127 I believe).

This must be something RPi-specific, there are no such issues with current Kodi-master on a PC.

I have both sample testet  - result is:
Local both sample no problem (SSD over USB)
but from LAN over NFS - DVD was OK and BD not OK ( buffer and stutter in slow motion )

Edit: I tested the latest  build #0203 on RPi3

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - doldi - 2018-02-04

Hello,
i'm unable to play over LAN some DTS (wave) music files - only stuttering.
This is shown in build #0203, build #0202 ...

Thanks Harald

About the black screen and only audio is playing...

Same happens with the netflix Plugin.

At the first start i see a black screen and hear sound. Stopping and starting again the same video i see a still picture and hear sound. When i skip time another still picture is seen and audio is playing. Stopping and starting it again everything behaves as it should.

Don't know if this is the same error, only kodi related or has to do something with the netflix plugin.

Works for me, thanks a Milhouse lot for your work! I set up Kodi last year for my family, today I just did the update and installed the new Amazon plugin and all works well.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - ganymed - 2018-02-04

Just one question, earlier releases had a suspend function, this release only has shutdown and reboot.
Is it possible to suspend Kodi ? This is good when using remote control to wake up the system.
