Yes stock Win7 64bit. no special settings.2 HDHomeRun Primes. Charter cable. Jarvis 16.1.
I have started looking at things affectine WMC but I wish I was more confident of my statement that uPnP did not have the problem. Need a way to record that doesn't involve WMC so I can confirm the problem is in the recording when I observe the glitches. .

Have you tried getting help in the green button forums? there is a command in hdhr to save directly to ts files. You could also install one of the other pvrs.

I tried NPVR that past weekend. Playback in NPVR was acceptable but when I tried using Kodi, got continuous buffering. Need to follow up in the NPVR addon forum,
I found the instruction on saving directly to disk. Maybe that will narrow the problem down some.
