I may be misreading your question, but are you saying that you have to login each time you want to watch something?  Or are you concerned that it is logging what you are watching?  For the former, I am using Kodi 18 Alpha 2 on linux and it does not ask me to enter my credentials every time.  I'm not sure what would be different about yours...

I have to login using my userid and password every single time. I am also on Alpha 2 but in windows so not sure what could be different.

If I go to the Amazon VOD settings, there is a "Connection" section.  In the middle there is a "Keep me logged in" option.  It is turned on for me.  Is it on for you?

Yes it is on. I tried few combinations with the settings but seems like the result is same.

Has anyone been able to use it other than german content? I was hoping that this would work with Indian Prime Video account, but not been able to get it working.

You might try to create an issue on github.  It looks like there are some others related to logging in, but I don't see anything quite like yours:

On Android Nougat it takes almost 10 minutes to open the addon and open the Movies or TV Shows section in Kodi 18 A3 nightly.
Is there a setting or way to improve the speed of the addon on Android?

Hi.

I'm gathering that the content once logged in is German oriented, correct? There isn't a way to get US content?

install the Amazon VOD addon for US content.

Thanks!

I am getting AV quarantines when trying to play a film. Is Occamy.c a false positive?

 Yes, it's a false positive

Again, thanks. It looks like Windows AV decided to calm the heck down finally.

Some observations so far (for those watching from home):
- It is so nice to have this function I almost want to cry. There are numerous ways of tackling Netflix via either directly in Kodi or by launching the W10 app. Amazon is really backward about supporting Windows. Proximity (Seattle) must breed contempt or something.
- I do have to come up with an alternative means of controlling the browser itself. I do this for the XB1 controller via Controller Companion. I'm sure other macro programs can perform similarly and programmable remotes like the Logitech Harmony likewise.
- For some reason, full-screen does not enable itself in Firefox. I could investigate further, but I decided that it would be easier to display in a different browser as the launcher merely opens a separate tab if I already have a browser open. As a matter of aesthetics I like this to function as an app as closely as possible so that it "just works" and doesn't offer any surprises. So I use Chrome.
- If the developer continues to support this, I would be amenable to hooking MS Edge browser; it's a nice one and IE is slowly moving towards sunset.

Love this and your Netflix addon! I was wondering if, in principle, you could do something similar so I could play my virginmedia channels within my Kodi? Thanks!
