This is fast becoming my favourite skin, very versatile, kudos!
One question ... how do I/we update to the latest build? is it done automatically on start or does it need a manual install from Zip? And if so, where from? (Running on a Raspberry Pi)

You'll have to put the file in a place you can reach from Get Addons --> install from zip. Select it from there & it'll install the repo files

Hey,
This request may sound stupid! When we bring OSD menu "M" button, the default button or the highlighted one is pause. I don't know if that is possible, but it would be nice to make the subtitle button as the default, or make an option to choose one. I have been using xbmc for a while now, and every time I have bring up the osd menu it was for subtitles.
Also, I have just noticed that the RSS bar one home screen is a little bit far of the edge? Is there a reason for this?

I'm trying out this mod but am confused.
My movies are organized on the server into folders as follows: Concerts, Cartoons, Movies, Blu-Rays
I would like my main menu buttons to reflect this organization, ie, Concerts, Cartoons, Movies, Blu-Rays and I guess System.
When I click on one of those buttons, I would like to be shown the items that are in that folder, ie, for Blu-Rays, it would show me my Blu-rays (and nothing else). When I click on Concerts, it would show me the concert DVDs.
Can I get a little help?

I don't know if there is another way to do this, but here is how I have done it:
First, add each folder (Concerts, Cartoons, Movies, and Blu-Rays) to your favorites.
After that, you'll need to modify the home buttons under skin settings. There are 10 items, so you'll need to modify 4 of theme to match your organization. To do that, click on the title of an item, that will brings up a list. Select favorites, and then choose you file. Repeat this for each of you folders.

Yes that will work, but I think a new view will work much better. For movies, the current Fanart view is good; I want Logos or ClearArt only for TV Shows. So, I'm not sure, but a toggle option on Fanart view will affect both, movies and shows?!
Can do it so it is only an option for TVShows & movies will stay as is. Only after fooling around with this Mod I find that I prefer not to have too many different views but to have options in individual views on how they should look.
BTW I think my vote is for ClearArt, haven't started this yet so other opinions will be considered.

Same as all AddOns if you have auto update enabled in Addon browser and Mod is installed via a repo then will auto update.

ATM the default is "Pause" that's what I use it for
However I'll go with a popular request. Unfortunately it's not something that is adjustable once MOD is running.RSS feed is slightly offset - Start playing some sort of media & then go to Home Screen while it's playing - you'll see the reason. BTW if you then press "M" the default key is "FullScreen"

You could also try the "Video Folder" option just below the "Nodes" option - Wouldn't mind some feed back on how well they work
My personal option would be to set up playlists or nodes.
So more than one way, choose the one that works best for you & then you can tell us

Just for fun - went across to SuperRepo just to check what version number they had & obviously something has gone wrong with the download stats but CCM is showing at 4th in the downloaded index. Site seemed to have some issues with links & missing info - don't know if that's usual or not.
Anyway point of this post - Thanks to you guys for making the Mod so popular, although does give me a problem, as I must get back to Hybrid soon

It seems to me that CCM has superseeded Hybrid, and if anything maybe it should in fact be CCM that is in the XBMC Official list instead...

We don't allow "MODs" in official repo.
They need to at least have a different name and distinct themselves from other skins in how they look/feel

I figured something like that may have been the case. Having said that Hybrid is heavily based on Confluence too isn't it? Regardless, I'm sure there is a specific criteria that is somehow not met by CCM
Still, it does seem that with the proliferation of low powered devices now being used to run XBMC by many people, it is the Skins that aren't too resource heavy, but still provide the 'necessary' customisations, that are becoming most popular.

I tried the "favorites" approach and that came close. It gave me a submenu of each of the folders rather than having the folders names on the main menu itself

I sure could use a little more guidance on the "playlist" or "node" options. Of course, when I add new rips to those folders I would like those automatically added.
Also, I realized once I get one right, the others will be easy so let's just say I want a "Blu-Ray" main menu button and when I click it I want it to show me my Blu-ray rips located in the "Blu-Ray" folder.. BTW, at this point I do have "Blu-Ray" button but when I click it it doesn't show me anything.
