RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Platypus2 - 2013-11-20 (2013-11-20, 02:51)Angelscry Wrote: If you go into your launcher "Advanced Options", you will see an option to "Force XBMC to toggle into windowed mode" before starting your application. It will surely help. By default XBMC is let into fullscren (fullscreen window or true fullscreen mode). There is no option into Advanced Launcher to minimize XBMC (there is no really reasons to do so). But, if you want to do so, you must do it using your own .bat script. Thanks for the help. By putting on the "Show batch command window" option it seems to work fine now , I was going to try that last night but ran out of time so thought I'd ask rather than spending another day trying to work it out . Thanks again. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Angelscry - 2013-11-20 (2013-11-20, 15:51)mike351 Wrote: Well I have just finished installing Win7HP on to the media centre pc, and XBMC still minimises itself when my external program is launched using Advanced Launcher. This pc is a netbook, with 1g ram, 1.6ghz atom cpu, intel graphics chipset and realtek audio.Maybe a solution : http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windowsxp/ht/stealingfocus02.htm You can try to check into the Windows registry if the ForegroundLockTimeout parameter is the same on all your Windows 7 operating system. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - mike351 - 2013-11-21 Solution found... I think when you install XBMC, if it is on low end hardware, the installer disables the "Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen". I didn't check this as on the other hardware it always seemed to be enabled by default. I guess the installer checks the base configuration of the hardware and adjusts this set I should have checked it anyway. So now my external app launches, XBMC remains on screen just not in focus, and the songs play as they should! Mike RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - mike351 - 2013-11-22 Now I have run in to another issue. When the app I am launching runs, after it connects (its an app that connects to a bluetooth device) to the device, it flicks in to full screen mode, and i'm back with the issue of XBMC not continuing on to the next song(s). While it waits for the connection to establish, it runs in a small window, and the songs will play as they should, so I need to work out how to stop the app from going full screen I guess. This is driving me nuts! Mike RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - newkitty - 2013-11-28 It's perfect on Windows. But I really want it launch android apps on my pad. Is that possible? But I really want it launch android apps on my pad. Is that possible?XBMC already natively support Android Apps launch. If you want to start files using a specific App, this last one must support command line to start them. And this is the more difficult part (found how App start files). You will found an example here with Firefox : http://www.gwenael.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=624 RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - senna99 - 2013-11-30 Hello! Angelscry I use Files launcher(e.g.game emulator) and Games.bat with the command @echo OFF %1 My folder in xbmc is calling games,so is it possible to make command line to autoscan folde with command <onclick>---</onclick> Regular way I use c button on my keyboard and Add Items/Scan for new Items. Best Regards RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Angelscry - 2013-11-30 (2013-11-30, 17:05)senna99 Wrote: Hello! AngelscryNo... It is actually not possible. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - senna99 - 2013-11-30 too bad ok thank you very much for your response. RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Angelscry - 2013-11-30 (2013-11-30, 17:05)senna99 Wrote: Hello! Angelscry Code: ... ...? ? ? RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - senna99 - 2013-11-30 I'll try thanks So far I have tried over 50 combinations the enter the line, not one line does not work. But anyway I not include games everyday in xbmc,it is not that important, but it would be nice to be able to scan folder on startup or on <onclick>---</onclick> command . I do not want to bore you, with that question in the future. Best Regards RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Angelscry - 2013-12-01 I understand your request... But it is not so simple. If you have 10 different categories, including 65 differents launchers, and pointing to 45 differents folders... which folder(s) will be scanned? All? And with which scrappers? Is that so complicated to select the launcher you want to be updated > press "C" key (or the corresponding assigned button of your remote) > Add Items > Scan of New Items? RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - senna99 - 2013-12-01 Everything is ok Angelscry I understand it all,I still grateful for this beautiful addon. Perhaps in the future you you make addon only for games and nothing more. I wish you all the best in future work. Best Regards RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - Th3Eagle - 2013-12-02 Hi Angelscry, I was trying to get DeSmuME to work and modified the script you posted on the wiki. Just some trial and error in autoit v3, resulted in a launch script that (based on a resolution of 1920x1080): -Launches DeDmuME version 9.10 -Goes full screen -Places the cursor at the scenter of the bottom DS screen -Traps the mouse in the area of the bottom DS screen Thanks for the example on the wiki (and advanced launcher of course ), and here is the modified script. Perhaps you can upload it to the wiki to help others (you probably wouldn't need my help to create it, but as a coding noob I had some trouble getting DeSmuMe to work at first, so I can image others would as well). Greetings, Th3Eagle Code: #include <Misc.au3> [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - ktjensen - 2013-12-11 Know there is 5000 messages on this thread. Regardless the app does a great job. Want to thank the developer for having this available as a tool. Will some day need to read the epic novel list of discussions. |
