RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - Jönke - 2015-04-13 Can´t see no improvement on 1080i stream here, still micro stutter on both recordings and live tv from Tvheadend. Tested with both players and omxplayer is better but not good. Here is sample @popcornmix if you want to take a look https://www.dropbox.com/s/kis9cyy9k1st809/Cake%20Boss.2015-04-13.S05E26.mkv?dl=0 RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - hdmkv - 2015-04-13 Mine's the same as your sample, mpeg2 1080i. Not all 1080i, but some channels (in my case, mainly my local NBC feed). By better, I meant compared to what it had been. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - tija - 2015-04-13 Hi, here I have an Debug Log with my "Servus TV HD" Problem. As described before ... all the other HD Channels from Astra 19,2 are working fine but this channel keeps black. http://pastebin.com/tZbVjX7a Is this enought? When I record this channel then my recording plays like a charm ... so there seems to be a problem only with LiveTV. Is it any different with OMXPlayer disabled in video/acceleration settings? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - mcelliott - 2015-04-13 With build 412, it seems that whatever is in recorded TV when I boot is shown, but if something is recorded during the session, it does not show until I reboot. Reverted to 411 to check this and if it is stable for a day or two, I will update again to confirm. Only "Added: PR:6937: [epg] start epg container asynchronously" sounds like a potential culprit (although I'm unsure of the connection between EPG and recordings). Let us know if you are sure 412 causes a problem. Yeah, the fact that I am seeing TV problems in a build where there is specifically a TV related change seems significant. I haven't seen the problem before, but I was able to reproduce it at will this evening with the MediaPortal front-end. Had to reboot in order to watch a recording. I will definitely keep an eye on this. Tested with both players and omxplayer is better but not good. That file seemed to play well for me. Not the easiest clip to judge, as it's filmed with a shaky hand held camera, but I don't believe I see any frame drops. Looked the same with omxplayer and dvdplayer. I assume you have "adjust display refresh to display" enabled, and TV is switching to a 50Hz mode? You have deinterlace enabled? (auto should be fine) You are playing fullscreen? (not in window or background?) Can you describe the "micro stutter". Do you believe it is happening all the time (e.g. many times a second), or are you just getting occasional drops (if so how many would be typical during that 45s clip)? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - Milhouse - 2015-04-13 I'll drop PR6937 from the next build (ready in a couple of hours), to see if it makes any difference. Maybe add it back later once it matures. I installed 0412 last night and the overnight some shows recorded and show up. 0412 has been booted ~22 hours now. My EPG on liveTV also appears to be updating correctly and the program listed appears to be the one actually on when I spot checked. You might want to consider an external http://kodi.wiki/view/MySQL database. That way you don't lose all your settings with a fresh install. I've been using one quite successfully the last couple of months and it is very convenient not to loose specific video settings.
