First things first, verify you're using the correct IP for your setup. Did you put in the same IP that the KODI info screen gives you?

Yes, i even switched port to 80 in an effort to get it to work.
Do I have to select the action file in the kodi Cinema Vision addon settings?

i have placed the actions in the very front of my sequence and at the very end. Tried refresh change to "always" and "start and stop" in kodi video settings. And removed log and pass for webserver as well

Yes, select the action file that will turn off the refresh rate sync at the very beginning of the sequence (make sure that it is already enabled in the KODI settings -- the CV action file to turn it off could cause problems if refresh rate sync is already off). Then, just before the feature, insert the action file to turn it on (start and stop is what I use). Let us know if that works.

That's what I have setup currently but it's not working. I'm thinking its a we server connection issue but am not sure what to do to fix it. Ip and port matches up.

If you go to System --> Services is "Allow Remote Control Via HTTP" enabled under Web Server? Is "Allow Remote Control By Programs On This System" enabled under Remote Control? (Settings Level will need to be at least Standard).

Can you copy/paste what's in your action file so we can see the modifications you've made?

GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE

We've just uploaded 1.0.0b1 as our first Release Candidate! The safe way to upgrade is a manual uninstall, then a reinstall and reconfiguration as we won't be making major changes to the guts of the add-on from here on out.

To celebrate the release, and Halloween, we've decided to make our brand-new Halloween Video Bumpers in full 1080p HD with Dolby Digital audio! These bumpers will be available to everyone for a limited time, so go get them now! We're working on converting the bumpers we already have, as well as quite a few new bumpers for our RedCarpet Club members, so be on the lookout for more HD content with Dolby Digital audio soon. Enjoy, and thanks for letting us be a part of your home theater!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Included in each set of bumpers are the following:
  • A Word From Our Sponsor
  • Coming Soon To This Home Theater
  • Coming Soon
  • Feature Presentation
  • Happy Halloween
  • Now Playing
  • Preshow Entertainment
  • Preshow Trivia
  • Put On Your 3D Glasses
  • Silence Your Cell Phones
  • Thanks For Playing
  • Thanks For Watching

Scott - love the bumpers, and I'm in the process of downloading them. Is there presently a way to automate playing holiday bumpers by using predefined dates?

(I'm still using 0.43, as I figured I'd wait until 1.0 to upgrade).

Cheers, Carl.

Dang it...I just downloaded the last release from work today so I could install (due to my issues with logging on at home) and I see this...I guess I will download it tomorrow. Congrats though.

Currently, no, but it is on our roadmap for the second round of development. You're welcome to wait to upgrade, but barring any bugs we have to squash, this version will be our 1.0 release! Help us test it out and make sure it's working as expected for everyone. We've changed quite a bit since 0.0.43.

Sorry about the trouble!

Just played around with the with the pre-release last night and everything worked like a champ on my set-up.

RE: CinemaVision Add-on: Create a Movie Theater Experience at Home - Ragnarok - 2015-10-27

Excellent! You still owe me your modified version with those features. I have the feature that you mentioned added to our list of things to do in the next round of development, but if you already got it done and working it might take some of the pressure off and let us do that real quick. Big Grin

RE: CinemaVision Add-on: Create a Movie Theater Experience at Home - mcorcoran - 2015-10-27

I'll do my best to carve out some time in early November to integrate my changes in a more manageable way. This week though is dedicated to horror movies for Halloween Smile.

I never got this to work. Can someone please post there cvaction files for this in case it has something to do with the way I made the files?
