RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Aux_ - 2018-10-26 Hi, after update to #1025 Kodi crash within 3 minutes two times on watching live TV. Here the crash logs: http://ix.io/1q4J http://ix.io/1q4T I have updated from #1023 to #1025 but I have now testet the #1024 and can say that it working fine. What was your last working build, can you determine when this issue started? Looks like it might be RDS related, and the last build #1025 included an RDS change in pvr.hts:

I thought I'd have to wait longer to find out! I also tested this with a DVD and now I can navigate in the menu. Thanks for the fast fix! This still doesn't work with some DVDs I open as ISOs. Is this maybe a different code path? Anything else I could check? RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - HiassofT - 2018-10-27 I'm getting Kodi crashes when watching news in the ORF TVthek addon (select some "ZIB" entry and then use "play all"). News are split up into short clips and AFAIK "play all" creates a playlist. The crashes are a bit intermittent, usually they occur after a few clips, and only on very rare occasions all ~10-15 clips play without crash. Bisecting lead to #0702 being the last build without crashes, I was able to play today's news 3 times without a crash. I hope that's not a red herring and I was just lucky to get no crash. With #0703 I once got a crash immediately at start but on a second try was able to play through the whole news show. Here are the crashlogs I collected during bisecting: #0703 immediate crash http://ix.io/1q9z #0705 http://ix.io/1q9D #0707 http://ix.io/1q9w #0714 http://ix.io/1q9d #0825 http://ix.io/1q9a #1026 http://ix.io/1q96 Except #0707 (which crashed because of a failed assertion in pthread_mutex_lock) all crashes seemed to occur in CEvent::Set(): Code: Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. so long, Hias RE: A plugin to be resurrected - ArminiusTux - 2018-10-27 (2018-10-23, 02:46)Milhouse Wrote:(2018-10-22, 22:02)ArminiusTux Wrote: Good evening Mr. Van Houten, dear Duce,No plans to reintroduce it as it's such a niche requirement, but it should be available as an add-on. I stopped including it in #0509 [2017] (which tends to confirm my point!) as it no longer compiled, but assuming it now builds again I'll add the package to LibreELEC so that it becomes available in the LibreELEC repository - no ETA when it will be available for downloaded, however. @Milhouse Thank you for the compiled addon and for the quick response. Small things first - vfs.sacd-999.1.0.0.1-1022~milhouse.zip installs fine: Playback on the other side, is impossible on build #1022 as the ISOs are shown but can NOT be opened. On build #1026 things improve and the ISOs are recognized and playback begins: However the audible result is poor - just buzzing sound .
Since DST decoding was altered a while ago this might be the cause to it. I will bother spiff about this and return as soon as the addon works on regular machines (Linux x64 and macOS x64). Last but not least the new LibreELEC feeling (boot up animation, scroll feeling etc.) is just superb - keep up the good work! It does not matter if it is a VIDEO_TS folder or an ISO. Only reproducible on RPi with MMAL enabled. Sample - https://www.dropbox.com/s/g4arcfcnibofjvo/dvd_menu_sample.7z?dl=1 I tried to pinpoint the exact build that introduced the issue. The oldest Milhouse build that is currently available for download is #1001. That issue is already present in that build and not present in official LE 8.2.5. You'll have to wait until the LE 9.0 repository is updated with new game add-ons, but I don't know when that will happen. |
