Your Blue Theme contains the standard 23 sub-folders...and I do understand how these sub-folders are connected to the Menu items.
However, some users like @bry... also have folders like "kidsmovies" and "kidstv" in the Halloween Theme.
But how do you get to display the images in "kidsmovies" and "kidstv" ? I can't see a connection to the Menu items.

@senzalice, my theme is only used for default items in main menu, for any new item created by users, have option for customize background, directly in customize main menu area.

Yes, correct, theme have a few images in each category, it´s simple get one image for use with your new item.
Ex: Image fine for using with kids

Help please.
I'm trying to setup menus, I've set some up last night and I'm now tweaking them. I've come to the customization - my tvshow/submenu and everything I set up last night shows as empty. Empty is on the wheel list. I've just checked and it's the same for every submenu. Just gone back to main menu and when I click down to get submenus its the same, they are all empty. I cannot even exit kodi as the shutdown menu is the same and I don't know which button is to exit.
Windows 10 pc... Jarvis 16.1 clean install of kodi last night and also mq7

@mattyspurs76, Jarvis have one small limit for using variables, this affect all skins, one way for help with this trouble, is creating command reload skin. In Krypton this trouble was fixed.
For it, you need edit your keyboard.xml, global area, here example using F5

<f5>XBMC.ReloadSkin()</f5>Now when happen empty, you need only press F5 for solve.
You find this file, in
Program files (x86)\kodi\system\keymaps\keyboard.xml
Use notepad++ or other xml tool for edit.

I like the option to load themes randomly on every Kodi startup. This works good with built-in themes (cold, colours, darkness, digitalart, future, modern, reddish, warm). But when using the blue theme in option "My own Theme" then this theme will always be used - also when option "Load themes randomly" is activated. Any chance to change that?

Try use mediaelch, is great for collect data and arts.

Thanks again for your support and the blue theme. I found one small problem with this theme. There is no background image in list view visible when cursor is at upper line (cursor is at folder to upper directory - "...")
Aeon built-in themes are showing an image in this list. Built-in themes uses the "movie.jpg" file for that.

many thanks for your reply i have tried mediaelch but finding that it is not downloading any ifo etc for my music , so i tried cdart manager and found it easy to use the version i am using is 4.1.0 from kodi oringal repo , i tried it on aeon nox and it worked so abit confused why it is coming up with a error all the time thanks
