Simple request... i'm using the Chrome extension and TT for Android but when I visit this forum alone, the default landing page seems to be http://forum.xbmc.org/ when it should really be http://forum.xbmc.org/usercp.php?action=subscriptions. In that situation when I get a notification to indicate I have an unread thread I go to the list of threads....
Is that fixable please?

no idea what you mean, nor how tapatalk works. I only installed the plugin - never used any of their apps. There is at least no option for the landing page of tapatalk in forum settings

I suspect there is some config options at the board end to tell it what pages to jump to... Will look into it on the TT site...

if a click on a notification about an unread thread brings you to the landing page of the forum, this is clearly a bug in TT - they should rather directly forward you to the new post.

An issue between the XBMC forum and the Tapatalk plugin was identified which made Tapatalk queries unneccesarily slow and negatively impacted the forum as well.
With some collaboration between the tapatalk developer, wsnipex and myself we managed to fix it for the most part - Tapatalk should be a lot faster now, and the forum should lag less.
Notifications table might be empty for a bit though, don't worry - it will fill back up soon enough

heads up - tapatalk with my nexus 5 KitKat is broken. threads open but no posts are visible. subscribed threads empty etc.

no there isn't, but I only get update notifications if there is a new version on mybb website. And as I'm no tapatalk user myself I'm not checking their site.

update has to wait. They're doing things I don't like in their latest update (i.e. no separate setting to enable/disable in-app registration). Also need to check their code for security and possible spam entry points.
