Well this time I believe it is Netflix that is the main studio, so they are going with part 5 as the latest season, with 5 episodes released now and 5 episodes in Dec.

ah, yes. I had a hunt around and both TMDB and TVDB are calling this Season 3

While Netflix are calling it Part 5

So nfo files will be needed again for those that are following the Netflix order.

Yes exactly. However, both TMDB and TVDB have alternate order listings for those following Netflix order. Is it possible to somehow get those, using the API?

Yes, certainly. Silly me for not checking the alternate episode orders before posting Wink

Follow this guide for TMDB... https://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/Episodes#Episode_Groups

You will note there is no guide for TVDB as currently there is no way to access those alternate orders. We are waiting to see how their new scraper works, which is hopefully being released sometime before 1 October.

Nevermind, it does work indeed, the problem was that I had 4 seasons already scraped with OP's NFOs and Kodi didn't want to scrape the new season due to that. Thanks!

It works you have to put the NFO inside tvshow folder and then scrap info with TMDBImage

Yeah it uses the TMDB scraper. Currently, the TVDB api doesn't allow for this. Refer to this for guidance: https://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/Episodes#Episode_Groups
