understandable, but an option to choose would be great (agree about not having it default). I like when things are just automated and IMDB is scraping near enough everything already and the IMDB keywords are pretty spot on, say If i want superhero movie playlist all I would do is type in "superhero" in the tags rules and it would just filter all superhero movies. It would be beneficial to people with large (1000+) movie collections because there is no way in hell I am tagging all my movies!

Dunno, I think ember does it already so if it's not going to be supported in here I will just use that. I made my case and point but alas it is not upto me. Just a nice feature I would of liked built into the scraper.

RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - scratchie77 - 2013-11-28

HI,

I have the scraper set to use Rotten Tomatoes / Critics Consensus as the Plot but instead i am getting the full plot from Rotten Tomatoes.
If i set the Plot Outline to Rotten Tomatoes / Critics Consensus it works fine but not for the actual plot.

I have tried completely removing the source and also setting the scraper settings from the source both which have made no difference.
Can anyone think why this might be happening?

Thanks
Glen

This was due to a bug, fixed in v2.4.5

Support to save TMDb keywords as tags has been added at v2.5.0

RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - sephyuyx - 2013-11-30

I am unable to scrape The Little Drummer Boy (1968).
The IMDB listing is http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063230/

I have several other movies with the same issue.
I have tried several different name combos, but it never appears

What gives?

Maybe because it is a short. If I remember correctly the default is to only scrape feature titles. You will need to change that in settings for that source. I think an NFO file (wiki) containing the url would also correct this, but I haven't tested it so I could be wrong.

Both findings/statements are correct! Thanks!

I think i found that, something along the lines of "search all categories", but that didnt help.
I had to change the scraper from imdb to the other one to find the missing titles.

@sephyuyx: did you change the scraper's configuration "at the source"?

Thanks!! I take it IMDB tags/keywords was not possible?

RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - olympia - 2013-12-08

It is possible, but more difficult than TMDb, therefore takes more time and I didn't have that time yet.

Same here, which is very weird, since that title only exists for the "Hong Kong (English title) (IMAX version)" AKA: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0796366/releaseinfo

FYI: My "Preferred Title Language" is set to USA/International

Maybe there's an issue with what IMDb is broadcasting as the title?

I used an NFO file to fix this. Just place the imdb url for the correct video in the file.
