RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - LakersFan - 2015-02-14 Hmm, never "unstuck". Debug log I killed SPMC, restarted, Went to my channel configurations and like suspected, there was no channel 2. My channels start at 101. I clicked default settings while there, only making one change afterwards - changed OS to Android ARM. I also clicked rebuild channels on next start. It still froze trying to update channel 2. I do not have autotune enabled. Thank you for any help you can provide. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - SheHateMe - 2015-02-14 Hopefully the dev can update PLTV to pick the same channel numbers as the backend. Unfortunately, in its current state, PLTV is not a viable option for me. It takes too long to start the script and the PVR backend numbers are not correct. It also doesn't pick up the Channel logos from the backend and the navigation for the script does not blend well with the keymaps I setup for XBMC. I'll try again in a few months. Thanks for the hard work, though. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - tommymsw - 2015-02-15 I love this program, but it's unusable. When I first set it up, it works great.. Opens fast and just start watching. But then after a few days, every time I start it, I have to wait for the entire channel list to scan and load. I see PTVL pop ups that say channel guide updated all the time. I assumed that meant it was doing it all the time in the background so you wouldn't have to wait each time you start it. I'm only using it with USTVNOW channels, so like 7 channels? Yet, it still has to load them all at start. Takes forever, so I always just uninstall the app. Isn't there a way it can just update all the time in the background? Seriously, what purpose does a comment like this serve? Are you trying to prove to everyone that you have no idea how PTVL works and that you haven't even read page 1 of the instructions or are you hoping someone is going to come rushing in here giving a darn that you have no clue and aren't going to use the program? All you're doing is filling up people's ignore list. Just saying. Works great now, Thanks! RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - lwsfs - 2015-02-15 Sometimes the channels don't load properly. Never had this issue on the older versions. I turned on debugging to generate a log file, but I have no idea where to find the file to upload the proper info. I am on a mac. Thanks in advance for the help! RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Indy_star - 2015-02-15 Luna, directory channel random you added last revision got broken in latest 0.5.8e version, will post a quick 1 channel log when kids go to sleep, pm to you when ready. I love channel config, great job with it. Also love on demand. 2 request if possible. 1 can the sub menu with on demand be launched with 1 button that can be mapped to remote? Right now I'm doing info, then left, kind of cryptic for my kids to figure out. Is there already an easier way to launch? 2. can new channel config be mapped to that menu system. Be nice to edit channel and background load changes while ptvl was running to avoid exiting. Maybe a step further and actually all settings.xml inside ptvl and just ask user if they want to reload ptvl automatically when changes require it. Not sure if it is plausible or if anyone else is interested in doing everything inside the program. Hmmmm well maybe you should pm Luna your keymap.xml and he can rewrite the addon around it. Seems reasonable. I was just stating that PLTV does not add channels from the PVR backend using the actual channel numbers from the backend. This is a huge turn off for me. Instead of being a dick and telling me that I didn't "read page 1". Maybe consider that not everyone is going to like this plugin as-is (hence why I said I'll check back in a few months. This is still in Alpha/Beta, correct?). Also, I DID read the top post to see if there was a solution to the backend channel numbers issue for MythTV and did not find anything. So, honestly, I don't give a shit if you (or anyone else) put me on ignore or not. You aren't going to ruin my day. Ive only been in this thread for 2 days and I have already seen how sensitive and hostile you people are when people say they have a problem or that there are things they don't like. Quote:are you hoping someone is going to come rushing in here giving a darn that you have no clue You're right, silly me for hoping someone could lend me a hand when I made earlier posts about having issues before the one that clearly set you off. Don't be such a keyboard warrior. Its a bit silly to assume that everyone is going to be able to come to this thread, read the top post and be able to use the script without any issues. I also don't remember asking anyone to come "rushing in" to "give a darn" about anything. My post was generally positive and I definitely was not try to put the dev down in any way. I just stated that in its current state, it is not usable for me. The channel number issue is a big deal for me. I use the desktop manager too but I am having a lot of issues manually adding live channels (which I did research after posting earlier in this thread...so much for being a jerk). RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - jaynford - 2015-02-15 *sigh* my post keeps getting lost in the shuffle. Any idea why 30 min shows are showing up as an hour? its messing the whole guide up.
