RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2013-07-19 I've been trying to figure out the best approach to in program channel managing for LiveTV and InternetTV... Problem I'm having is the strings are too long for a user to manually enter (no one wants to copy one of those links manually into the manager). So then the other option is to have a user select the feed from a list... which would be redundant to a feature i'm working on now... auto channel population from an external xml. So this is how i'm leaving things... Master will be my stable beta that is out now... no planned channel managers...but... I will be working on auto channel population which would allow a user to auto populate LiveTV or InternetTV from an external list... the user setting would be nothing more then a toggle button in the settings. As for the channel manager, I will add full reading of LiveTV and InternetTV channels with an option to add a source from your xbmc favorites list... Those two additions would replace the manual channel types 8 and 9... which I will still leave functioning to allow for settings2.xml compatibility... I will be making changes to the testing branch of my git if someone wants to help... RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Daavid - 2013-07-19 Tried this out earlier today. Looking really great considering its a first release beta. Nice job. I look forward to the other goodies you have planned for the final release as well. One thing i noticed which might be something to consider, the first time i tried to load it it tried to start on the preset VEVO channel, but no video displayed, only the overlays. I pushed up to change channel and the preset MTV channel loaded no problem. I think it could be a regional thing that caused the VEVO link not to work for me (in Ireland). Only mentioning it in case I'm right and it could possibly make some people think it simply isn't working. I just updated to a different vevo link... can you download latest git master and let me know if vevo works try http://vevoplaylist-live.hls.adaptive.level3.net/vevo/ch1/appleman.m3u8 RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Daavid - 2013-07-19 Nope, still no luck with that one I'm afraid RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Daavid - 2013-07-19 Actually, I've re-downloaded and it works. I must have not copied over the newer version. Case closed RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - blobdole - 2013-07-20 love the plugin, great work! Quick question though, why does my EPG still do this instead of starting at the left? Is the epg still bugged? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2013-07-20 (2013-07-20, 00:02)blobdole Wrote: love the plugin, great work! As far as EPG if you started PTV before 6pm it will start with 5:30pm epg... when did you load PTV? b4 5:30? when does law and order start and end in real time? when does funny videos start? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - blobdole - 2013-07-20 (2013-07-20, 00:08)Lunatixz Wrote:(2013-07-20, 00:02)blobdole Wrote: love the plugin, great work! Law and order was ending at 6:00 and AFV was starting at 6:00. I was mostly referring to the video info on the epg not starting on the left, but more of a quarter of the way in and showing info for previous shows. See how direct tv has theres video info starting from the left to the right, while mine shows info about a quarter of the way in, and also past info. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2013-07-20 (2013-07-20, 00:16)blobdole Wrote:(2013-07-20, 00:08)Lunatixz Wrote:(2013-07-20, 00:02)blobdole Wrote: love the plugin, great work! LOL, it's not DirectTV... So you can't compare If you tune in before 6pm don't you want to see what's playing now? and the time bar in line with what time it is... or the best it can since it runs in 30 minute increments... Did something change from how it worked before? I don't remember changing timebar or epg positioning? was it different in PseudoTV? let me know... RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - blobdole - 2013-07-20 (2013-07-20, 00:21)Lunatixz Wrote:(2013-07-20, 00:16)blobdole Wrote:(2013-07-20, 00:08)Lunatixz Wrote: As far as EPG if you started PTV before 6pm it will start with 5:30pm epg... Noo, like where the info starts. So this (bad edit, the time does not match as it should) instead of this RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2013-07-20 Was it different in PseudoTV Jasons build? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - blobdole - 2013-07-20 (2013-07-20, 00:26)Lunatixz Wrote: Was it different in PseudoTV Jasons build? No, it was the same. I thought it was a bug or something. Nevermind I guess. Edit, well NVM. I loaded up PTV again and this time it loaded the right way. Guess it just depends on when you open the channel. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2013-07-20 (2013-07-20, 00:27)blobdole Wrote:(2013-07-20, 00:26)Lunatixz Wrote: Was it different in PseudoTV Jasons build? If you want... you can start a list of little things you would like to see corrected (not added features) that aren't specifically problems with my build... but with PseudoTV in general. If they are worth looking into I'll make changes and request jason102 pull those changes as well... You gotta take in mind... my addons were put on top of PseudoTV so if something was off in PTV, it will be the same here... Unless its an obvious problem! I can't wait when the time comes that new features aren't added, So I can spend my time making PseudoTV Live look nicer! So much potential for enhancing the interface. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - blobdole - 2013-07-20 Alright cool. One last questions. My live channels have a blank image under "now playing", I remember on the older PTV it just used a still from the stream or something. Is this a bug or just me? And how do I get my icons to show up like vevo tv does. Mine only show up as the channel logo while playing the channel, but not on the EPG, even though I selected the logo folder. Not a bug, Fan Art should work for movies and tv... but not Livetv or internettv later on I will add tvdb and tmdb support which will request that info and display it... |
