- minute - 2010-04-28 I use the last xbmc trunk, the one made on the 1rst march, but I don`t know where to find your last SVN version. - amet - 2010-04-28 minute Wrote:I use the last xbmc trunk, the one made on the 1rst march, but I don`t know where to find your last SVN version. you need to be using "svn trunk of XBMC" to be able to use XBMC Subtitles. you are on pre-addon merge nightlies, use OpenSubtitles_OSD v1.52 - Zeflash - 2010-05-01 hey, I have an issue with this script. For some reason, it only works once per xbmc session. Meaning, when I start xbmc, and I retrieve a sub via the OSD just fine. Then if I try to do it again (be it for the same movie or another) the movie pauses, but nothing else happens and the xbmc process is frozen, I have to kill it and start over again (which is pretty damn annoying!) here are the latest lines of the log. There's a crash on a thread - probably an important one ![]() Code: 22:57:00 T:4044 M:2173026304 NOTICE: -->Python Interpreter Initialized<-- - jurrabi - 2010-05-01 This has been reported previously in this same thread (I did one of the last ones in here) This is an issue with Windows builds and is already reported in trac (although it is not moving much). Not much can be done for the moment. - Andromeda_nevel - 2010-05-02 I have the same problem, but it seems to me that the bug is in the plugin that continues to run and can't be stopped. If I downloaded a subtitles with the OSD and I check the script status it says (running). If I try another subtitle download, the plugin crashes and the script status give me (running)(running). Doesn't seem to difficult to fix to me, but I'm a n00b when it comes to programming ![]() - amet - 2010-05-02 Andromeda_nevel Wrote:I have the same problem, but it seems to me that the bug is in the plugin that continues to run and can't be stopped. Because you don't know programming one usually tends to think that things are easier than they really are. If you problem is the same as the one posted before (for that, as amet told you) you'll have to check the log and see if you have "CThread: ![]() Keep in mind that many different possible problems might show the same symptoms. But the solution might differ a lot. For that, again, the log is your (and our) friend. If your problem is caused by the same issue (only happens in recent (means post 9.11 versions) Windows versions in x64 and x32) it's not that easy to fix. It's been open for some months now... - Andromeda_nevel - 2010-05-02 I'm sorry, I didn't want to sound annoyed or something. I really like this plug-in and with each update I hope that the issue is fixed. But it apparently is a difficult bug else it wouldn't take so long. To possibly aid with the fix here is my log file: http://pastebin.com/36WhSMa1 OS: Windows 7 64bit with 1st march nightly build. - jurrabi - 2010-05-02 It seems that you are experiencing the same problem. You are getting something wrong anyway. It's not a bug in the Subtitles script (at least I'm pretty sure about this) but in the XBMC windows version. In fact. If you use the script with xbmc 9.11 (no the latest version as this one is addons ready and doesn't work with 9.11) you can get it working... Maybe that's a good solution for you until 10.5 is out and the problem is fixed. - Andromeda_nevel - 2010-05-02 Unfortunatly, I need the version I'm using now for DXVA support. I guess I'll have to wait for the official release then, untill then I will have to restart XBMC for new subtitles... Thanks! - Zeflash - 2010-05-03 Any idea when 10.5 has chances to get released? not an exact date of course, but is it something counted in weeks? months? I think I'll go back to 9.11. It's sad to not have lanczos resampling but putting this and having to restart xbmc all the time in balance ... kinda easy to decide! ![]() - mr_blobby - 2010-05-03 Zeflash Wrote:Any idea when 10.5 has chances to get released? not an exact date of course, but is it something counted in weeks? months?I'm experiencing the same problem and hope it will be fixed in the upcoming stable release. If I look at the roadmap, it should be released on May 12 http://trac.xbmc.org/roadmap - mrQQ - 2010-05-08 I don't know what happens, but sometimes it works for me, other times (more often than not) it complains that it can't save file to specified location. I used process mon to monitor what it's trying to do, and instead of using full path as needed, it seems to remove drive part from it, and append userdata folder, so it tries to save file to, for example: C:\Program Files\XBMC\userdata\Storage\media\video\movies\9\9.en.srt instead of T:\Storage\media\video\movies\9\9.en.srt whats going on here? - mrQQ - 2010-05-08 This only happens with Sublight, not with OS. Podnapisi doesn't return any results at all for me, so I can't test.. - amet - 2010-05-08 debug log please |
