This should work out of the box with the skin...
The skin will automatically pull the rotating images from your Plex media libraries.
skin settings --> configure menu shortcuts --> Add --> smart shortcuts for Plex
select one of your library items, it should have the rotating images included.
Hi Marcel, with your 'should work out of the box' comments in mind and conscious I had been experimenting with the fTV skin... I decided to re-install my entire Kodi setup... and Viola, yes all tile images for my main sections appeared again and rotated 'working out the box' so to speak...
I think my previous problems were further aggravated when I tried to set about adding some custom tile shortcuts to point to PleXBMC 'In-Progress' (On-Deck) & Recently added... (as default these are set to sub menu's) I was trying to enable big main menu tile access for them, but rotating images don't seem to work for these PleXBMC sections/shortcuts it just displays the blue addon image - is that the case?
if On-Deck & Recently Added could be added as option to the main menu tile items with rotating images, that would obviously be awesome, but conscious there may be limits to what PleXBMC can enable for you.

by the way --> Skin Settings --> General Skin Settings --> 'Do not show footer bar' & 'Do not show footer bar on home'
...do not seem to be working (does not implement the changes)... I presume these settings should toggle the footer bar on & off. I've been trying to hide my footer bar from the home screen and the only way I can enable it to disappear is by changing the opacity to 0... however this also changes the opacity for the Media Library views, which I would actually like to keep to around opacity 60.
just thought I'd flag it if it hadn't already been spotted.

Hi is there any way to set a custom view default.
I not tired with some add-ons like Robin Hood.
It defaults to showcase but nothing no shows and I have to change
View each time I access the addon.

I believe so marcel, I haven't checked since .29... using the default tiled Home layout with 1 row of tiles.

just tried the latest beta - first of all: thank you for the changes
- and found a few issues in your recent changes
1) disc rotates, but cdart.png is not shown (fallback image instead)
2) position of the lines above and below the screenshot is wrong. would it be possible to have that menu wider or at least with scrolling text ?
3) chapter name is still missing in video osd

In the beta version yes. Skin settings --> media library views --> Forced views

1) fixed in new beta (available tonight or tomorrow). Please test if it's fixed for you.
2) Also fixed. I made the dialog a bit wider and enabled scrolling.
3) As far as I'm aware it isn't possible to display the chaptername on the OSD...

Hmm, I couldn't find anything in the documentation about it so assumed it wasn't possible. Seems that the documentation is outdated :-)
I will take a look at confluence for the chapter name. Expect it to work on next update.
Backup Skin Settings - 214b1 - 2015-07-12
Hello All!
In the current backup skin settings, I'm unable to select a location, other than the local hard drive. I would like the option of backing up the skin settings to my NAS. I thought about mapping a local drive letter to the NAS, but that seems kind of clunky, just to backup the skin settings.

The Kodi file browse dialog is a bit weird... You have to add sources to the file manager in order to make them appear in those browse dialogs
