RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - Goliath2000 - 2015-07-23 2 days left until 1.6 appears in apple store? ![]() RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - rschiks - 2015-07-23 I always check this site: http://appreviewtimes.com for an indication. RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - rschiks - 2015-07-25 Yesterday version 1.6 went in review. I have seen cases in which the app gets approved in 5 minutes, half an hour, two hours, 6 hours and the next day. Well, guess it's the latter option right now :-( Could be that the reviewer was at the end of his working day and thought I am going to do this one tomorrow... Anyway, I already experienced this two times earlier. RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - meridius - 2015-07-25 Hi Richard just sent you an email with some of the size and design locations in a zip let me know how you get on RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - Goliath2000 - 2015-07-25 @rschiks was there any possibility to add chapter selection in the API? I still need to look into this. Today I am going to install Isengard myself on a test machine. RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - meridius - 2015-07-26 (2015-07-26, 07:55)rschiks Wrote:(2015-07-25, 16:11)meridius Wrote: Hi Richard just sent you an email with some of the size and design locations in a zip let me know how you get on let me know when you want me to test the touch out and send me a request to beta test it, when you starting the new theme and can you program the parts I sent you in to see how it works out ? RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - rschiks - 2015-07-26 I have been playing around with the gestures/buttons for the new remote control view. Some people speak highly about XBMC commander so I want to achieve at least the same experience, but preferable better. So I came up with the following (again I have used my best photoshop skills): I think the following actions are important: - left, right, up, down, ok (or select) and back. - When scrolling through a list you should have the ability to be precise and just go one down/up/left or right, but also to go faster thought the list. - You can go one level higher, back, or what ever. - You should be able not to look at the screen and still know your way around. This is what I came up with and would like to discuss before I make it final. I already sent this image to meridius a while back. ![]() When you touch the screen (could be anywhere in the designated area -> marked with the diagonal black stripes), it represents the blue dot, you can do the following: - lift your finger (in the black area) within a certain amount of time. it will then react as a ok button (or select). - lift your finger (in the black area) after a certain amount of time. it will cancel your touch. - move your finger down while still touching the screen and move to the red area. it will initiate an automatic scroll down at speed x1. When you remain in this area the scrolling continues. - move you finger down while still touching the screen and move to the blue area in the red area the scrolling speed will increase. - when moved your finger to other red areas it will do the same for that direction. - the big buttons will do just one action (left, right, up, down and back) RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - meridius - 2015-07-26 hi mate you don't want to mix a touch pad and button pad together this is why I did a 2 option version as the user can select between touch pad and button pad eg see http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=208371&pid=2027940#pid2027940 I would do it like this ![]() and would do 1. single tap select 2. double tap esc or back 3. swipe move 4. double tap two finger osd theres know way I can tell how it works as I would need to test it as I have used xbmc commander (still do) for years for the touch pad side of it RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - rschiks - 2015-07-26 @meridius, the swipe movement for your view I am playing with right now, I have to know if you're swiping or just moving your finger (both to the same, but I have to distinguish them). Your view is very clear now (I thinkĀ :-) ). besides the swipe movement I already have this working in a test version. RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - meridius - 2015-07-26 any chance of trying it ? RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - rschiks - 2015-07-26 (2015-07-26, 12:39)meridius Wrote: any chance of trying it ? Still need to figure out the swipe to move on top of the other gestures thing :-( RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - meridius - 2015-07-26 ok soon as your sorted let me know would loveto try it out and give input RE: Kodi Control Center (unofficial remote) - rschiks - 2015-07-26 (2015-07-26, 13:24)meridius Wrote: ok soon as your sorted let me know would loveto try it out and give input Of course. just got the gestures working together with the other stuff ![]() |
