RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - SkripT - 2019-01-18 Hi again. Could anybody please help me with my questions? It would be so interesting if it’s possible to watch the user personal recommendations somehow. Thank you and congratulations for the add on. Much appreciated! RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - meNick - 2019-01-18 (2019-01-17, 23:09)WeirdH Wrote: Could someone test this video? I updated to 6.3.0beta4, but this one still won't play. Had some troubles earlier with livestreams too (IGNs Mortal Kombat 11 reveal).I used version 6.3.0~beta3 from post #2, with Kodi 17.6 and this code: plugin://plugin.video.youtube/?action=play_video&videoid=P2FBORxP88A Your video ran just fine for me. But bear in mind I can just do enough to be dangerous. BTW, where did you get 6.3.0~beta4 ? RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - WeirdH - 2019-01-18 I just assumed it was beta4, because the github said this (under 'installation'): Or did I get the wrong one? RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - Smasherr - 2019-01-18 (2019-01-03, 14:11)Smasherr Wrote: Hello and thank you for your add-on! I have an issue with it when trying to play a video with a non-latin title. What do I do to produce the error:@anxdpanic Here's a debug log: https://paste.kodi.tv/oqizawemim.kodi RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - DjDiabolik - 2019-01-18 Whit beta4 i have obtain a strange issue whit this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6t2r8b8Mzs&t=0s It's start... i can reproduce whitout any problems up to about 14 minutes and at this point the reproduction stop himself whitout any explanation. I have at this point try to restart from this point....... no works.... start to reproduce from start... no works.... obtain errors message reported on log: https://paste.kodi.tv/yohofaqeso.kodi This whit dash or whitout dash enabled.......... other video apparently works. Strange.... *EDIT* Move log on correct place.... *EDIT 2* Beta5 (after i need manually check update on repo) fix the issue. Thanks in advance. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - jdig4240 - 2019-01-18 Running the latest Youtube on Leia. Half the videos fail to play. Heres error log: https://pastebin.com/zymRe3eY RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - anxdpanic - 2019-01-18 @SkripT > 1080p is currently not supported with the add-on., The recommendations are currently a limitation of what is being returned by the YouTube Data API, hopefully this improves in the future. @macula MPEG-DASH/InputStream Adaptive will be required for some streams that are >360p and for others that are >720p. InputStream Adaptive is only available in Kodi 17 or greater. @caseguy Would need a complete debug log (wiki) to have an idea of what is happening. @jape42 That looks like an intermittent connection, the connection to the playing stream failed followed by the connection to youtube[dot]com failing. @WeirdH, @Smasherr, @jdig4240 Can you try with beta5 I've updated post #2 with beta5 [fix] Playback of some videos (e.g. music videos) [fixup] time reported by playback monitor [fixup] get player javascript RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - macula - 2019-01-18 That might be an hastle to do considering android version doesn't support higher version then Jarvis 16.1 Kodi. But let's say that is possible with somekind third party install (I know there are some) there is also problem with default skins, if I remember right default skin Confluence is replaced with newer default skin which would kinda eat up performance making responds slower. Unless I can find good recomendation on Kodi Krypton installation that supports installation on 4.4.4 android and good skin preferebly Confluence or based on it with lower resolution for increased performance... I might consider. Otherwise changing everything just for sakes of getting youtube addon to get higher resolutions then 360p kinda too much. I was already tired last time searching for Krypton and skins that I gave up on sticked with official Jarvis. Hope this doesn't rub you wrong way I am just writting up my thoughs on previous attempts and finds from personel experience, also at this moment I am not planning on getting better android so this gonna have last for a while for me until I can. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - macula - 2019-01-18 @anxdpanic Figured as much. If only it go up to 720p I would be satisfied. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - WeirdH - 2019-01-18 (2019-01-18, 22:12)anxdpanic Wrote: @WeirdH, @Smasherr, @jdig4240Dude, you are on TOP of things. It seems to work fine now. Haven't tested too many vids yet, but everything I tried, works. Awesome job, once again. Thanks so much! RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - jdig4240 - 2019-01-18 (2019-01-18, 22:12)anxdpanic Wrote: I've updated post #2 with beta5Thanks, but no luck with beta 5. For example, go to popular now section on youtube, and try Arianna Grande (First one) or others there and either it fails to play or freezes Kodi completely. On W10 64 bit with latest Kodi nightly. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - anxdpanic - 2019-01-18 @jdig4240 That video is working with beta5 here. Will need a complete debug log (wiki) to see what is happening in your case. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - jdig4240 - 2019-01-18 (2019-01-18, 23:29)anxdpanic Wrote: @jdig4240Yes! Its working. I had to delete the Youtube folder from addon_data, then it started working again with beta 5. Thanks! RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - smartgenes - 2019-01-19 Hi, I'm running Kodi via LibreELEC on Raspberry Pi 3B. One or two videos work on the Youtube addon but most don't. http://ix.io/1wcU I added MPEG-DASH, though I'm not sure how to configure HTTP server, 127.0.0.1 ? Any help would be really apprciated. RE: YouTube Plug-in Thread - smartgenes - 2019-01-19 Here's a more recent reproduction of the same error with debugging on: http://ix.io/1wkt |
