RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17) - Roby77 - 2016-04-14
Before switch off it yesterday (i sold it) mine was up (only suspend mode) from several days
Really sorry that a fresh setup didn't solve it

Ah had to be tried as it could have been a rouge addon or something at fault. CPU maxed out again as i type and majority of ram in use aswell. I'll try one last thing before i go back to 16 which is to disable pvr as thats the only thing i can think of that maybe a cause (large channel list).
RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17) - Roby77 - 2016-04-16
formatted for my friend directly to libreelec v.16 and upgraded to libre v17 and i tried /stressed for all day with 3 movies in loop and no problem (just to be sure that my hardware wasn't defective)
BUT i never used pvr or tv functions in my so i'm not able to test it
@Milhouse if i may....about libreelec i have this problem http://forum.libreelec.tv/thread-67-post-835.html#pid835
thx for all!

Replied in your other thread - I think there's been a mixup with LE commits coming & going. Will re-add the 16-235 commit to my next LE build. Note that this issue does not affect OE builds.

Many thanks for this, it's helped a lot - playback is now good again, although I still see occasional frame skips (and sometimes drops) but only 1 every now and again. It looks like the VsyncOff value is increasing steadily (about 0.2-0.3 every 1-2 seconds), then beyond a certain point it resets and a frame is skipped or dropped. Is it worth reporting what I see in the CodecOSD, or is there more info in the debug log (assuming there's anything left that can be done)?

HI milhouse,
I am new to this kodi stuff and confused with all the different builds and version. I tried the official latest build but some of the scenes i am getting like oil painted especially on skin tones, it seems like i am not using the right build.
I have a two nuc's nuc6isyh and nuc5cpyh, Can you please advice me which builds and versions are best for those nuc's.
Thanks

but am running OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0-Milhouse-20160416021844-#0415-g0026734 build
and I think the last I was running was OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0-Milhouse-20160320235229-#0320-g0026734
at some point I lost the ability to use my mouse to go to the subtitle download button to get subtitles I can click on the subtitle menu but when I go to click on download the menu disappears. now I have to use the arrows on the keyboard and enter to select download
thanks

Closing this thread as there is no further support for these builds.
Existing users should upgrade to LibreELEC Kodi 17 test builds, or downgrade to OpenELEC Kodi 16 official releases.
