american horror story doesn't have a full episode rss feed for some reason. It just isn't provided for that show. it is strange because the extras and clips have rss feeds. It will need a new scraper for it to work correctly. sorry...

They removed the universe and modern marvels from history and added them to H2 their new rebrand for history international. http://www.history.com/shows/h2 . I wrote something to scrape them to so it will readd those shows.

Nice plugin! A lot of newer MTV shows are not available that are on their website though. Just a few off the top of my head are Beavis and Butt-head and The Real World: San Diego. There are older seasons of Real World available why wouldn't the newer one be? They have a lot of the newer stuff in 720p which would be great to watch in xbmc because watching in the browser with flash is never smooth.

Hi Bluecop,
I have a patch that fixes a lot of the nbc shows like Free Agents, Grimm etc. Saturday Night Live still doesn't return any shows as that would require a different scraper again. I've added a method that scrapes the recent episodes on the shows home page eg http://www.nbc.com/grimm/ if your original method fails.

I just installed this to try to get ABC Family working for my wife, but none of the shows seem to be able to play. I've tried multiple shows, full episodes and short videos. The episode list appears, as well as a synopsis, but when I try to play them, the "working" icon appears briefly and then disappears and nothing else happens. Any thoughts? I searched this thread but didn't see anything recently about this. I am using version 0.1.9 of the plugin. Can anyone help me troubleshoot? Let me know if there's any more information that I can provide.

I'm a noob to the XBMC world. Last night I installed XBMC on my jailbroken ATV2, along with BlueCop's depository, and I tested Free Cable to see what it was all about -- nothing would play for me, but I was able to browse the list of shows and networks. Do I need to patch any files to get started? Is each show coming from a different feed?

When I was new at this I had the same problem. Did you download and install the lastest update aka "nightly build" after you installed XBMC. First you install XBMC, but then you have to download last nights build and install it too. Then your Free cable should work. Here are instructions on installing the nightly builds: Click here

yeap. CBS changed their carousels code. The good news is that their new json lists are nice and detailed. so things will have more meta-data when fixed.

You're welcome, I'll try to help in any way I can. You only have to do the Nightly build once. It should take care of your issues. The only other time you would need to do a nightly build is if something isn't working correctly and someone suggest installing the latest nightly.

Fwiw also had good luck with his nbc patch. Also fwiw anyone new to this using linux would be well off to observe the librtmp issue and upgrade asap, it makes a huge difference. Just my .02 of course.

some of the CBS show pages are down.

this url for example is currently throwing a error 500 Internal Server Error.
It was working before the pages went down.
Also I updated to 0.2.0 and it includes fixes for CBS, History(now includes H2 shows), USA, NBC Full Episode lists
NBC still needs fixes for some show pages for extras content.
