I need your help please!! i have finally got around to updating to the latest version, but i have lost the ability to switch between profiles...see page 24.... my labelas of DAD and Finn are missing, i have checked home.xml and the text is still present. i would expect it to all have worked again.

i have checked the mod settings and my check boxes have also disapeared but the text seems to still be in home.xml..

i HAD A LOK AND MY SONS PROFILE IS STILL AVAIL VIA PROFILE ON SETTINGS. BUT THE LABEL ARE NOW MISSING AND NO CHECK BOX NOW IN THE ADVANCED MOD SETTINGS.

Hi max , i have done a frsh install of mod con 2.0 on my laptop and have followed you scripts on pg 23 and 32 to the letter, only changing the profile names. It definetely does not work on this release 2.0, do you have any suggestions as switching between profiles on the home screen was used constantly for my son and it was easy for my wife.

thanks for the nice skin, new to xbmc and using it.

I have got a question, is it possible when playing movies not to show the dvd or bluray cover on the left, and let just the video controls.

I mean when you pause a movie we see the cover on the left, I would like to have just the player controls, like forward, play, pause, etc.like the confluence default.

You might check "packages" directory within profile/addons

Follow the screenshot, I would like a regular player, without the cover on the left, just the buttons play paude, etc, and if possible at the top of the screen

Problem: Added menu is empty if local data

XBMC Windows Eden 11.0 final - Laptop Vaio W7 - Skin Confluence-MOD 2.0 - Distant data on NAS Thecus N7700

TEST 1 has an issue

-(1)- HDhomerun DVB-T streams and channels logos copied on laptop (c:\HDHomerun)

-(2)- Folder c:\HDHomerun added as Video source in XBMC (Videos- Files - Add Videos - Browse - c:\HDHomerun\)

-(3)- C:\HDHomerun\ set as favorite (C, Add to favorites)

-(4)- System - Settings - Skin - Advanced MOD settings
Custom Favorite 1: <x>
Label: DVB-T
Pfad : c:\HDHomerun
-> Activate Window(10025,"C:\HDHomerun\",return)

PROBLEM : In Home menu, new DVB-T window is empty & black Sad

nb: No problem to see channel logos if I access directly to the C:\HDHomerun\ folder from "Video" in Home menu

TEST 2 is OK

-(1A)- HDhomerun DVB-T streams and channels logos copied on shared folder "TV Shows" on my distant N7700 NAS (192.168.1.100)

-(2A)- Folder smb :"\\192.168.1.100\TV Shows" added as Video source in XBMC (Videos- Files - Add Videos - Browse - Windows Network (SMB) - N7700 - TV Shows)

-(3A)- \TV SHOWS\ set as favorite (C, Add to favorites)

-(4A)- System - Settings - Skin - Advanced MOD settings
Custom Favorite 2 : <x>
Label: DVB-T2
Pfad : TV Shows
-> Activate Window(10025,"smb://N7700/TV SHOWS/",return)

-> OK, the new DVB-T2 window has the channels logos and DVB-T streams are OK Smile

-> Why this difference if streams folder is in local or in distant mode ?

Couldn't find an issue...I'll try to code the home.xml for you from scratch...

Check FullscreenVideo.xml and DialogSeekbar.xml
Quite at the top are the controls for the covers

Remember:

Activate Window(10025,"C:\HDHomerun\",return)
-> Window empty

Activate Window(10025,"smb://N7700/TV SHOWS/",return)
-> Window OK
