- clubwerks - 2011-08-30 What a great looking program. I can't wait to test this out. - clubwerks - 2011-08-30 OK, here's my first issue and there seems to be some issue with how AC/DC is handled if you search this thread. I picked 3 AC/DC albums as "Wanted". The first two it found and downloaded no problem. The third one, Let There Be Rock, is still showing as wanted even though there's about 20 matches on NZBMatrix. Any ideas? - speed32219 - 2011-08-31 Just installed, trying to understand how to use it. I started with a small music library of about 12 albums, it found all 12. What's cool is it shows what I have and what I don't, so I can select more albums from a particlar artist. Really neat. So I did a search on Beatles and it populated my search with all the beatles albums. I select 2 albums and moved them from SKIPPED to WANTED. I also had two albums that were of 128kbs quality MP3 and I wanted to upgrade to lossless or flac. Currently in UPCOMING it shows four albums in the wanted mode. This has been for 5 hours, so I went into settings and changed from lossless only to highest quality and lossless. Two hours later I'm still waiting. Can I manually force it to look for the albums? Or it might have looked already and can't find the quality I selected. Which logs should I check, HeadPhones/SAB/XBMC or all? Edit: also, on the top of the screen I have a message "You're 12 commits behind. Click here to update". I have clicked for update and it said it was updating but the message never goes away. "Headphones is Updating..." Version: be5e9ac016ab3e0bc143d44bd75cf083b561b517 Ubuntu 10.10 - speed32219 - 2011-09-01 Instead of adding to my post, I'll post what I have so far. I clicked on a beatles album I wanted and did a FORCE update. (Found at top of screen) It looks like it can't find the music I have using nzb.su, so that's why everyhting is sitting there in the wanted state. Here is a copy of the current log, maybe I need to pay nzbmatrix to get a api key and have two providers to search through. Code: 2011-08-31 18:55:18 INFO No results found from http://nzb.su for The Beatles Revolver Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band PS. The size used for the fonts are excellent!! - speed32219 - 2011-09-01 I have a problem, HP does not find anything I search for. I have my search provider set up for newznab host as http://www.nzb.su with my api key. Anything I type in to search it does find the album and artist and updates evrything, but returns an error on my search provider not being able to locate the album. i.e. Code: 2011-08-31 22:53:48 INFO No results found from http://www.nzb.su for Lady Gaga Born This Way If I go to nzb.su and sign in and serach for the artist and album it finds pages of music videos and albums. I have changed to the lowest quality, 128kpbs bit rate, and every other selection and still get the same error. Anyone have a suggestion? Edit: Found the problem, when I typed in my api key I included the &r= with the api key. It's working a treat, a great music app for xbmc! - HenryFord - 2011-09-01 rflores2323 Wrote:Why not integrate google music somehow. Just a thought. There is currently no API for Google Music, so there is that... would have to wait for that one to be released (meaning: Google Music goes out in the wild), they already presented the API on the Google I/O, but I think it'll take a while until it comes out. @lotus503: I sincerely cannot explain the error with the win-build, can you report it on the issue-tracker? - jdoggvt - 2011-09-01 For the life of me I just cannot get this to work correctly I'm running the win32 version (e9a1e5522a04268690edf2c921906bdafc95c3a7) and have removed, re-downloaded, rescanned on multiple occasions but it never scans in my entire library. I have (according to subsonic and mediamonkey) ~2100 artists but headphones stops around 350 consistently. The log page doesn't seem to tell me a lot: Quote:2011-08-31 12:40:39 INFO Importing 1790 new artists It says it's scanning in the remaining artists but 24 hours later the artist count is still the same. My tags were correct in Itunes before I quit using that and subsonic/mediamonkey don't have a problem with anything in the library being mislabeled. AFAIK the permissions are correct on the music drive/folder as well. Is there maybe something else I can try or another log I can check to try and determine what's going on? :confused2: - steve1977 - 2011-09-01 jdoggvt Wrote:For the life of me I just cannot get this to work correctly I'm running the win32 version (e9a1e5522a04268690edf2c921906bdafc95c3a7) and have removed, re-downloaded, rescanned on multiple occasions but it never scans in my entire library. If so, then run the following from a termnal and it will start headphones on startup. A time factor like 60 min before sending to SAB? HP passes NZB to Sab, if so, does it use the default NZB directory that I set up in SAB or do I need to specify that in a HP config.ini file? While in the log, below, if I click on the url for "Found best Result, highlighted" , and save the NZB it generated to the sab watched folder, it immediately starts to donwload music. I am not getting this reaction with HP, even though everything looks good. I do have the IP/Port/SAB Key input correctly. Unless I need to add http:// to the IP address. Any recommendations are welcome. I have some time off so I can start working out the kinks and bugs. If you really wanna help speed things along, donate a couple bucks, or whatever you can! I'm thinking about rewriting a lot of the code just to make it run a lot smoother, so you may not notice too many front end changes for a couple days, just a heads up. Donate to Headphones - clubwerks - 2011-09-04 I've got a question and/or comment. How does Headphones handle post processing on an album you already have or have partially completed? I initially set my folder up exactly the same way Headphones does, Music/Van Halen/Van Halen II [1979] for example. Let's say I only had a couple songs off the album and I click wanted. It seems to write another folder Van Halen II [1979] (2). If I create another folder manually, Windows 7 actually give me the option of merging the two. It would seem that having the ability to select "Overwrite" and/or "Merge" with existing folder would be the way to go. |
