Cool new feature in the develop branch: enter your own search term for albums to override the default

RE: Headphones - Music albums & artists auto download program - chrisuk11 - 2012-12-26

what is everyone using to search for the nzbs for MP3 albums now?

As I have now set this up, but struggling to get anything to be found, are there any good free indexers around that can be used with Headphones? obviously with many closing down i am struggling to find one that works well with headphones

I have tried to setup wombles / nzbindex with no success

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but it looks like Re-Encoding has is broken in the recent updates. I'm not sure exactly how long it hasn't been working though. I just did some FLAC downloading over the weekend and noticed that the MP3s hadn't been created. I haven't changed any settings, so I'm thinking that it's Headphones that's broken.

Any blacklist option? I'm trying to block discography's from downloading...

RE: Headphones - Music albums & artists auto download program - rembo10 - 2013-01-19

Lunatixz (or anyone else who's up for testing): develop branch now has filters: Preferred Words, Ignored Words, and Required Words (under Quality & Post Processing). This provides the blacklist, but the Preferred Words needs more testing just to make sure it's selecting the best results and sorting everything correctly.

bisk: double check the path to your encoder is correct (now has to point to the binary/exe). I tried to update the path but it may have broken on some installs

I tried setting the path for ffmpeg to D:\Apps\ffmpeg\bin\ffmpeg.exe and D:\Apps\ffmpeg\bin and neither are working. It used to work with D:\Apps\ffmpeg. I don't see any errors in the log file on the web interface. Any other ideas?

Rembo10,
Here's an cut from my log with one of the post-processing. To me, it looks like Headphones isn't moving the MP3s over to the separate MP3 library.

Just a question about albums scanning: most of my albums have extra informations in square bracket just after the original album name, like, for example: Exile On Main St. [Polydor Japan 2011 Bit-Perfect SACD 24/88].

These albums are not recognized by Headphones. Is there a way to made Headphones just ignore the square brackets?

Thanks

So, i've beginning to tag my music with musicbrainz picard but headphones still sometimes pick up the wrong release, even tagged with the correct musicbrainz id!

For example, "19" by "Adele": headphones never picks up the expanded edition (22 tracks). And if i want to switch to an alternate release, the list of alternate releases proposed by Headphones is absolutely not the same than the Musicbrainz.org one's. So i think the problem is related to this bug. A problem with the musicbrainz server?

Same bug, no response in the official headphones forum:

Any hint?

Trying today with AC/DC, same bug: only half of my albums are correctly tagged by Headphones, after being tagged in Picard...

VIP membership useless?

Any thoughts on this issue?

If you're seeing very high cpu usage, my suggestion for now, until a fix is up, is just to turn off library scanning (an option in the next update, or you can just leave the music library folder under the Manage tab blank)

Any fix for this in the near future?

RE: Headphones - Music albums & artists auto download program - jakks - 2013-01-27

is there anyway to stop headphones snatching .rar files when using the torrents option? Ive been having issues with it grabbing false albums

RE: Headphones - Music albums & artists auto download program - jjmucker - 2013-01-30

Love this program and just have 1 question. I havent added/scanned my music library into headphones yet. Could someone tell me the benefits of doing this?

RE: Headphones - Music albums & artists auto download program - Lunatixz - 2013-01-30

Any chance of adding Labeling for uTorrent? I would like to categorize my torrent downloads.
