I've just installed (and bought) Constellation on my iPad.
I like the design and controls.
Connecting to XBMC was easy. So far so good.
I'm able to use the remote functions, that works just fine.
But unfortunately, I can't get my libraries visible in the application. Nothing shows up, the screens remain black.
@FSS_Dawid: any idea?
I must say, this remote looks promising!

For some reason the app crash when I try to play a video on my iPhone4

I can't seem to get it to work. I do as instructed in the YouTube video, I passed the test but the http status shows "Failed" and the JSON RPC status shows "disconnected.
What am I doing wrong?

Well I don't actually know how to tell you this and not make a big idiot out of myself
One of our developers put a # (commented out) a line of code that was responsible for syncing the library The update fixing this issues has been submitted to app store. I have also filled in a request to get this update a bigger priority. I can send you an ad-hoc distribution version if You provide me your UUID od the devices... 
I really apologize for the inconvinience.Well you can call this a big fail start
as a project manager for this one Im heading to a pub...PS

do you have port 9090 open ? If you are using windows you have to open port 9090 (the json-rpc port to get this remote to work) on you system firewall.

Nice work, I can't see anywhere that you can view the Now Playing controls? Also on the iOS 5 beta the "Pull this view down to explore more" doesn't work on the iphone. It clashes with the notification drag down bar. I'm assuming this is where the controls are, but it is impossible to look at them because the activation zone of the drag down is the same as notifications.
You've already got a purchase through me though, it looks like a very promising start to the project.

The IOS 5 Covers the pulldown bar for our remote... so you can't access the now playing features. The IOS 5 should not do that in fullscreen apps. but its still in beta so it does

The library doesnt work for me not in xbmc v10 and not in any beta builds .
any eta when the fix is going to released?

I installed it early this morning (like 4ish hours ago) and it showed the correct number of albums but the TV and Movies had the wrong count and pretty much anything I tried to do would cause the app to outright freeze so I had to force quit and when I reopened it, it'd just do the same thing... I've been able to play for a couple minutes at a time and really like some of the views and other things, just not sure why it's crashing like this.
Specs:
64GB iPad (1st Gen) Wifi Only Model running 4.3.3
XBMC running on Windows 7 Ultimate x64
222 Albums in Music Library
500+ Movies and 240+ TV Shows (over 10,000 Episodes)
Any ideas?
