Hey 0wing,

i hate to ask but can you supply us with a new, more recent build, so that it has the weather addon fixes? I would be very pleased... Nod

Really liking this DSPlayer build. Combined with MPC for some high end viewing, it's top notch.

Just curious, if DSPLayer works, why would you need MPC?

Because I have it set up with madVR and whether it's placebo or not, I can see a difference in the quality of output with high end sources.

Not really a big deal. I remapped the keys in MPC and it works seamlessly with XBMC without changing the interface at all.

well i already opened up a request ticket in order to get native madvr support , madshi is simply waiting for a dev to pick it up thats all ,until then i too will be using an external player hooked into xbmc, no need for a dsplayer preeden built you can use a regular nightly too, instead of internal ,thou i wonder for how long this is going to take for my request to be picked up , one would think this would be popular xD

the day where we dont need an external player anymore is the day ill run through all down town naked yelling eureka ....xD

it'll be a month before 4k UHD becomes the new standard for consumer media. Then the HTPC community will have to wait a few years to get open source full featured support with bug-free bells and whistles etc Smile

I'm pretty sure this will never see native support in XBMC madVR doesn't support DXVA, Hardware Deinterlacing and has higher CPU usage none of those fit well with lower powered units which is something they are trying to improve

People use DSPlayer because they don't want to use an external player Rolleyes

The amount of replies you got in the other thread should really tell you something

-.-' dont remind me

The amount of replies has nothing to do with anything. That just means that most people are satisfied with getting less than the optimal picture possible, which really shouldn't surprise anybody.

Yes it does I was talking about a reply from a dev as it was in Feature Suggestions

I think most people want optimum picture quality me included but if everybody cant use it then there's less chance its going to get added madvr would be pretty useless to people currently running 1080p or PVR on a nettop etc

If you read madshi's quote in hentai23 thread your see even bigger reason why its likely not to be added

If you think my views mean I'm in some way against madVR then you would be wrong I didn't by high end hardware to use low end software (not referring to xbmc) that makes no sense at all I also want the best PQ I can get
