One question...Its possible to play 3D Iso with DSPlayer? I know that with 3840x1080 files works fine, but with ISO file I think that Dsplayer only plays in 2D...Its possible to add a switch option to play in 3d ir this is impossible?

Similiar to the newest mediacenters (Egreat R300 and Measy X5):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hdnlWMUGGHc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wOEz7ItvT0c

These mediacenters plays the another 1920x1080 file at the same time to the first file. I'm wrong? Is it possibe?

What build is this exactly? Is it the most current nightly pre eden but with dsplayer implemented?

- 0wing - 2011-12-13

Yes, current XBMC git merged with DSPlayer.

A couple of quick questions:

1) Am I missing a place in my NFO files to get ratings to show up? I see almost everything else in the XBMC skin, but not the ratings (e.g. R, PG, etc.)

2) I've been focused on getting the audio/video information to who up properly, and I've got everything working but PCM. It should be bluray_pcm, but that doesn't seem to work. Here's the list of audio images, which are supposed to match the audio codec in the NFO:
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/tree/master/addons/skin.confluence/media/flagging/audio

Thanks in advance for any help!

Haha, yes, you're right. I'm new to DSPlayer and I've been really impressed so far. It's exactly what XBMC needs. I also am looking forward to more of Tiben's exellent work.

I am just getting huge static from the speakers when i try a MKV with dts-hd

Stop then play again seems to work (most of the time) but I wonder if anyone found a solution (the issue is codec/filter independent, i have seen it reported earlier in the thread). Cheers!

Yes I have this issue too from time to time and do the same thing to resolve it.
I use the following for mkv:
haali splitters
coreavcvideo
ffdshowaudio

I had a huge problem with this and eps of Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni! from FFFpeeps. From what I real I had to use dvd player for every ep. You can find files for each ep here: http://fffansubs.org/?cat=325

I also have issues in many other shows that have heavy typesetting. In the first few eps of C3 from UTW you can see the typesetting flickers. I have had other instances where something was flickering and I had to pause to read it. You can find C3 videos here: http://utw.me/tag/c3/ it appears most with the openings from the first few episodes.

There is also a multitude of various series where the subs will drop for a line and come back.

I believe I read on a previous page that you or someone else is working on fixing this. I hope these examples will help. If you need any other more particular test data I can locate exact files ect that have issues for various types of sub problems.

Thank you so much for your work on this!

Same here, running an AMD Zacate E350 mobo, and using LAV filters for bitstreaming.

I had this happen a couple of times and it was a bad rip. Try re-ripping from the source, that fixed it for me.

- stevos - 2011-12-15

Fixed the problem, it wasn't defaulting to use dsplayer

I added the advancedsettings.xml and now works perfectly.

Video even looks a little bit better than xbmc standard as well, although that might just be me.

Very very happy now, absolute respect to the author

@Tiben - any chance you could take a look at DSPlayer recognising the 'forced' subtitles flag in mkv's - for me its the only thing missing from the app - great work as always

@Owing - thanks again for the new build.

i did search the subs problem. But i have no idea what is making it crash. Right now i think there a deadlock being created when the subtitle pin receive is sample. The thread crash so the previous lock is just staying locked. Maybe some try catch(char* str) would help me figuring where it crash.
@steelman1991
i will check this. Its going to be easier than try fixing the subtitles right now.
Ps: im still waiting for madshi to complete the test version, so right when i get it ill leave a message to say i started developing the patch required for madvr

I'm wondering why the video-fps figure in the info screen (press "O", last line) seems not to be stable during the movie.

MPC-HC tells me that I have stable 23.9760(6) Hz during the movie but Dsplayer (w LAV) starts with 23.98 (would be correct...) and then jumps to 24.00 or 23.95 and the stays on that figure for a long time period.

As I also do not see any glitches (or other video issues) when playing file w Dsplayer, I would assume 23.976 is met during the movie but wrongly shown on the info screen. Anyone else?
