I just know XBMC needs all these options about filters and splitters, it wouldnt be the same without all the possibilities Dsplayer or some kind of ds solution adds to it. It greatly improves the experience for me.

I think he means, will dsplayer always be a branch not available in the win32 download section of xbmc.org main website. As is, people have to know of dsplayer, and know of this thread to get it, etc.
The best case scenario would be to follow the official nightly builds and still be able to choose dsplayer as the player if one wanted to (some day).
I'm happy to continue following this thread myself because at least there is an option available to us. It's just more convenient to keep in touch with the nightly builds and know that you've got dsplayer as an option with the official download.

Edit: with the latest version, although I'm allowed to select Reclock as an audio renderer, I can't select WASAPI. There's Direct Sound and then another entry with the name of the soundcard, but it's not labeled as WASAPI and if I select it I don't get any sound and video synch goes to hell...
WASAPI is available under the XBMC Settings\System\Audio Output entry and if selected works normally with DVDPlayer.

can i play m2ts or ts files, in which there is no video, only hd audio or does dsplayer now needs video.

Edit: i coded a little piece of video with tsmuxer to an dts-hd file in a m2ts container and dsplayer played it fine.So why is Video needed,
no other Player(PowerDVD,VLCPlayer,MPC- they play it fine without Video) needs video.Can you please change the code??

So select WASAPI in ReClock then, like I said previously in this thread you can configure ReClock to work with any player including XBMC without ever setting ReClock as the audio renderer in the player itself it can be all done in ReClock Config

wish you a wonderfull christmas. Here now the links to the m2ts files we
have spoken about:

the file 'onlyAudio.m2ts' has one short dts-hd file,which is played fine by
VLC+FFdvideodec+ffdaudiodec or also with the new XBMC AudioEngine.
(in the new AudioEngine there are some bugs and drop-outs,so i won't use it)
It was played fine by DSPlayer in the last Version before 33619.
Since 33619 there's no chance to play it cause the file will not open.
The file'Video+Audio.m2ts' includes a very little Video + the same dts-hd Audio
file . It plays fine in the new DSPlayer in the same configuration like VLC.
The Receiver shows me DTS-Ma.
So i have ca. 2 TB HD-Audiofiles in m2ts Containers without any Video in it,
i hope that you can make me a big Christmas Present by changing the Code
or giving me a tip.
