I will not make a "Eden specific" build until the stable release.

Thank you 0wing that's what I was after didn't expect it today Smile

Just to ask, what are the changes in this new release, is it another merge, or is there anything else new in it?

No criticism, just curious.

I believe its just a merge so the only changes will be those that happened in trunk between the last build and today, nothing has changed in trunk between now and yesterday so I personally would consider this a Eden Beta 1 build but maybe I'm wrong

If there was something special about the build I would have told you Smile.

cheers for the build 0wing!

>>X<<' Wrote:So select WASAPI in ReClock then, like I said previously in this thread you can configure ReClock to work with any player including XBMC without ever setting ReClock as the audio renderer in the player itself it can be all done in ReClock Config
Not everyone would want to have to install an extra piece of software just to use WASAPI. This is why I was reporting it. All in all, if one has smooth playback with perfect timings on his refresh rate, Reclock should not be needed. And if I'm not mistaken you need WASAPI to bitstream HD codecs (but even if you didn't, the bug report stands. WASAPI should be selectable.)

I misunderstood what you wrote it sounded like you were already using reclock

I already know reclock isn't needed if your have smooth playback it was you who was uncertain, now your telling me something I told you Rolleyes

Smile I can use Reclock (ie. it's installed on my HTPC). But I'm not sure I need it. As things stand now (at least, in my test), I am forced to use it if I want WASAPI, because it's not selectable among the different sound renderers (Direct Sound is there, for instance).

You say WASAPI is selectable in the GUI but I don't see the option. It might just be cut off for some reason... Meaning, there's no "WASAPI" prefix in front of the sound card, as there is for the Direct Sound option (and as there is, for WASAPI too, in the System/Audio output options).

A brief extract from the log:
Code:
02:26:08 T:4348   DEBUG: Found audio renderer device "TX-NR3007-1 (NVIDIA High Defini" (guid: {E30629D1-27E5-11CE-875D-00608CB78066})

02:26:08 T:4348   DEBUG: Found audio renderer device "Default DirectSound Device" (guid: {79376820-07D0-11CF-A24D-0020AFD79767})

Did I explaing things fully now? Smile

In order to output my flac audio from my videos as best as possible I wanted to know what filter/settings I need to use to do the following:

Output as PCM for audio as default unless it is in dts or another format my receiver can natively decode in which case I want the stream to be passed directly to the receiver. I am using optical if that matters.

First of all I want to say thank you for your time and working in this project, it's amazing.

Second I want to ask you a thing maybe it's answered but I can't find it anywhere.

XBMC + Dsplayer is for me nearest perfect software that I could find for my HTPC. But I come from DREAM boxes and we are working everyday with PVR and tuners. I wonder (I don't know if it's possible) if DSplayer could be included in one of the XBMC pre-EDEN PVR compilations. Something like XBMC Eden PVR + DSplayer.

I don't know if could be possible or not that's why I'm asking.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Regards:
Marky.

This won't happen unless one of them merge with the trunk.

Ok. Understood.

Thank you very much.

I can't seem to get DSPlayer working with LAV. When I select "Play with DSPlayer" nothing happens.

Newest build of DSPlayer (25Dec)
Win 7 Pro 32bit
LAV 0.43 (32bit)
i3-540
GT 430

Lav works fine in MPC-hc and the dvdplayer works great in XBMC.

I built my configs by cutting and pasting bits from this thread that include LAV GUIDs. Perhaps the GUIDS for LAV are different for 32 bit?

I should add that the LAV source GUID (B98D13E7-55DB-4385-A33D-09FD1BA26338) shows up under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

I said that before I checked and your right WASAPI is not listed in any case I don't believe you have to use WASAPI for HD audio or at least for bitstreaming ?

Maybe they are WASAPI as you say then again maybe not Laugh
