Movie Info from .eit Files - deltamk - 2011-08-11

Hi,
i have a lot of movies on a NAS which i recorded whith a dreambox 8000. They are all in ts format. There are additional Files like EIT and META where details for each movie are stored (from EPG).

I just want to use XBMC for playing these recorded Videos. With my first try I just see Movie names like "20070926 0220 - Silverline - The Maddening.ts" in the list and no movie information. Is there a possibility to import the movie information from these files so i could read these details in the movie list by clicking movie Info? (As it is on my dreambox in the video list).

I searched for hours and could not find anything. I am completely new to XBMC.

Please help.

Thanks,

delta

Thanks for your fast reply, but this will not work for me. I want to stream from a NAS where the movie archive is stored.
This plugin just works with streaming directly from Dreambox.
XBMC is used on a nettop and will be used out of my home where the dreambox is.

Sorry, it is not on a NAS it is directly attached by ESata to a 5-bay drive storage

In that case you will probably need to create a script to parse the information from the files created by the dreambox into .nfo files that XBMC can actually read.

Have a look at this site..

and also this link for a feature request someone made, similar to what you are trying to achieve, they may be able to assist you further.
