Live TV, Recorded TV, Internet + Multi-Room DVR? - jthomas - 2011-08-24 Hi, new to the forum. Wondering if it is possible to use XBMC to stream live TV from either a Hauppauge PVR after STB (preferred to get ALL channels) or SiliconDust HDHomeRun (not preferred) with MythTV, create an SQL database for synchronization of pre-recorded material between HTPCs, and also be able to browse the internet either with firefox in linux or some other set-up (Navi-X?). And could all this be controlled with a remote from the HTPCs? I would be looking at about 4 HTPC's/clients and one server running a Phenom II X6 or an i7. Any advice would be much appreciated. - jthomas - 2011-08-25 Anyone? Any ideas how to accomplish this? I'm open to suggestions... |
