One more question about global search script if I may.
Is there a way or plans to add a feature to search content using .nfo audiolanguage tag and/or see the found results with this language info ? This language audio tracks info is aslo stored in sql "streamdetails" table after updating a library using info from .nfo files.

Hello,
As everyone always says, apologies if this has been asked and answered already, but I have searched for several days without finding a concrete answer. Is there a way to add support for searching the plot of an episode or movie? I read through the add-on notes, and I think I understand the "main" search containers (Movies, Episodes (names), TV Shows, etc) and I also think I understand that the property section shows what will be returned if the "main" container hits on the search criteria. If this is so, then it would seem "out of the box" global.search does not search plots. For me, this is a big needed feature. There are many, many movies and shows that titles do not contain a key word. For example, if I search Movies for Christmas, I will not get back Die Hard as a result b/c it is not in the title. The same for the Simpsons "Tree-house of Terror" episodes when using Halloween as the criterion.
I'm in no way complaining, I'm hoping that there is something i am missing, an alternate solution (workaround) or a planned feature upgrade.

Hello folks!
I have Kodi 16.1, Aeon Nox Maddox as skin. I installed Global search 6.0.6. OSX.
Search results are ok, if I ask [i] I get the info panel.
But whenever I try to start the movie/episode etc, being directly on results panel or info panel, I just get the looping circle for a while then Kodi crashes (hangs) and nothing starts.
Global search issue or Aeon Nox Maddox issue? Any idea?

Hi,
I have the search button in estuary linked directly to the global search addon since i only ever want to search all my library and not have to pick the right search widget.
The global search works nicely except for with Live TV (EPG), it shows the correct results however I can't click on any of the results or view extra information e.g. to start a recording or series recording or even view it's start date/time.
Is this an issue with the addon itself or Kodi? How can this be improved?

the addon can't play epg items, as there is no way to retrieve the path/filename for those items in python (using json-rpc).
displaying additional info is also not implemented in python for epg items.

How does it work with json-rpc for other items? Maybe it's easy to add the missing pieces for epg items.

the json-rpc calls VideoLibrary.GetMovies / VideoLibrary.GetEpisodes / VideoLibrary.GetMusicVideos / AudioLibrary.GetSongs will all return a 'file' property.
this is the full path+filename of the item. the addon passes the file to a Player.Open json call to start playback.
the problem with epg items is, the PVR.GetBroadcasts json call does not return a 'file' property. it is not implemented.

I integrated the addon to my skin mod and it is working great, but I experience one small flaw in the fixedlist (9000), which lists the different media types:
As long as the list is active and has got the focus, it works (see picture 01).
But when I change the focus to the panel (50), the light blue background of the previous focussed item of 9000 disappears as desired, but the font color remains black as if it were still in the focus.
Do you have got any idea what is happening here?
