RE: [Release] GlobalSearch Script - newbie007 - 2012-05-22 Hi ronie, thank you for your reply my script is giving success but shows no results. there are some *.mp3, *.mpeg, *.mp4 files in my video database, couldnt figure out the issue. i've tried both 2.4 and 2.5 versions of the script.globalsearch, but in vain please find below the full log... http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=2880 RE: [Release] GlobalSearch Script - ronie - 2012-05-22 (2012-05-22, 13:20)newbie007 Wrote: Hi ronie, hi newbie007, did you actually use a scraper to scan those items to the library? i ask as the difference between movie files and movie library may not always be obvious to new users. according to the log, you don't have any items in your movie library: Quote:16:43:39 T:5788 DEBUG: CVideoDatabase::RunQuery took 1 ms for 0 items query: select * from movieview[quote] RE: [Release] GlobalSearch Script - newbie007 - 2012-05-23 Hi ronie, I've just did a fresh install of xmbc and added the xeebo skin on top of it. When i tried using global search its not giving any result neither for videos nor for songs. As you have mentioned i've done the scan of the library items using the scrapper only... but still in vain.... If you still say that there are no items in my library, can you pls let me knw the procedure for doing the same... Any light in this area is of great help. please find below the debug logs of the same http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=2882 Thanks in advance.... RE: [Release] GlobalSearch Script - newbie007 - 2012-05-24 Hi ronie, yesterday i could figure out the issue, as you mentioned i was not aware of the scrapper stuff. After your mention i've gone back and created a new library with existing scrappers. now the search is working fine... thanks for your time and the addon works really well thanks again RE: [Release] GlobalSearch Script - Spy_br - 2012-06-14 How I can search for more information about chapters in MKV files? For example in music video with many musics and yours names. Yes, it found everything i was looking for rather quickly, but I saw no say to alter the results view, and more importantly, the ability to queue search results. Is the functionality influenced by the skin one uses? Is there a way to add these features? RE: [Release] GlobalSearch Script - Mudislander - 2012-07-23 @ronie, any chance of adding an error trap - for when a user enters a blank search. Script doesn't like to exit after such a search until you enter a proper search. Also not your problem but such a search wipes out the main menu of Convergence, I'll have to find out why. RE: [Release] GlobalSearch Script - Mudislander - 2012-07-24 Cheers, easy to miss - not many people try a blank search. RE: [Release] GlobalSearch Script - FlyveHest - 2012-07-31 Came here to mention the empty search result, happily awaiting next version |
