For now it's good as it is. This skin is inspired by the xbox dashboard (some parts more, some less) but it certainly will never be a complete clone.

I don't know yet but I may drop the old home screen completely because there are also many skin settings I need to change for the new home screen. But I'll see if I can leave both.
Search isn't working yet because the global search script will need some small additions.
Excellent progress there Black, the homescreen couldn't get much better IMO. My only gripe with the skin at present is the implementation of recently added as I like to be able to see what's been added without clicking on anything as soon as the skin is loaded. This solves this problem perfectly, includes watchlist + global search support and looks awesome whilst doing it. I couldn't be happier with it!

just WOW!! This is simply amazing. One of the most sensible ways to display information such as recently added/random and watchlist that I've seen for xbmc skins and in general. Looking forward to the release!

Yes and this skin has info so he must mean something else.

Any chance of the new homescreen progress making its way to github sometime soon? I'd love to have a play :p
Edit: I've got a relatively small feature request, could you make the director clickable in the video info screen so that a user can filter by director? I didn't realise this had been implemented yet until I saw this thread. I'd love this functionality present within the skin.
