Not had a chance to research this at all yet, but just saw this article on the a register that explains that freeview boxes are now also streaming IP channels.

I guess this is more logically a plug in, but was wondering what others comments were on this?

The boxes are not streaming anything. They are just able to view an existing Internet video stream.
