What do these Live items actually mean? And where I can see them in the currant skin from Git?

The "Live" cases refer a background option that has been added recently, where instead of a simple wallpaper the background shows the posters of the 10 most recently added movies in their DVD cases (or the 10 most recent albums in their CD cases, similarly for the pictures...). You can find it in the background selector: System -> Skin -> Customizers -> Main menu item customizer -> Any Main Menu Button -> Choose background -> Live DVD cases.
