Did you install the stable 2.0 version? I think that came out 3-4 months ago, but the Icelandic language was added last January. You should install Aeon Nox (SVN), or download the latest non-updatable version from here:

Like I said... I only went through the "get add-on" feature in Eden and installed the Nox Skin using that method - not sure what it downloads exactly (nox version wise that is) - but yeah that's what I thought ...the language info had been inserted a long time ago ...hence my surprise when I noticed that it was missing.
I'll try your link and see what happens.

BTW: what does the string #31673 "Enable autoscroll pop-up letter" in the recent SVN mean? It is rather cryptic and I haven't found it in the GUI.

When you're scrolling through your movie collection, a small box comes up showing which letter you're in. There was an option to disable it in the 1080 version, but it won't be available in 3.0 (phil65 has said so), therefore you don't have to give it much thought.

As XBMC is moving to using PO language files for translations, are there any plans to add PO language files to Aeon-Nox?

The current XBMC code already uses PO language files, and most probably Eden buxfix release will support them too. More info is on the last several pages of this topic: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=126925&page=8
All you need is to run this utility against the language folder of Aeon-Nox, so that it generates PO language files along with XML.
