Live Tv and the Remote to control xbmc - broadleon - 2011-12-19
Just a quick one for you xbmc guru's out there, I was wondering if I stick a Hauppauge TD 500 DUAL DVB-T Pci card in my xbmc, would it first of all work?
And two would i be able to use the remote interface on that tv card to control the rest of xbmc? can it work like that?
I know that the hauppuage remote works with xbmc as i have it working with a usb-uirt on a different machine
but if I cant get the ir receiver on the TV card to to control xbmc can i get a cheap ir receiver to work with the hauppuage remote? as the usb-uirt are very expensive to obtain in the uk.

OK I know the TV card will work, but will the onboard ir work for the rest of xbmc not just the live tv?
