Well you need that the phone can communicate with Xbmc on the TCP port you have choosen and UDP port 9777.

Until you can open the page http://ip:port/jsonrpc then no remote will work Sad

Try disable all antivirus / firewall on both ends.

Like what is not working ? the button does nothing, the button is not showing there's a message ? Smile

And as usual : http://yatse.leetzone.org/redmine/projects/androidwidget/wiki/Debug to gather logs.

sorry, not home at the moment, is there supposed to be a seperate button for resume? I assume play was to do both, if there was an already started movie, it would prompt to go to that point.

i dont see any new buttons on the screen when there should be a resume point. the logs i will get, but all it's doing is starting from the beginning.

btw, love the app, always willing to pay the full amount... well done.

Well you need to be on Frodo at least / sync your movies then yes a new button is there for resume Smile

Just right to the play button, if you use the start button then little luck to have resume function.

Well, I tried opening up the port UPnP UDP 9777 and still no deal. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to go and get a HW remote.

keep in mind that everything else works perfectly Tongue

RE: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - Tolriq - 2013-02-25

Well this is the Xbmc logs without the start so I don't get your Xbmc version Smile

What I needed was Yatse logs Wink

To just be sure I'll repeat again : You need to be on Frodo (So have edited your remote if you have updated recently as stated http://yatse.leetzone.org/redmine/projects/androidwidget/wiki/FAQ#I-updated-to-Frodo-but-dont-see-new-supported-functions )

You also need to sync the medias to get the new resume values.

And also keep in mind that it works for all other people Wink Wink Wink Wink

Hello.

I bought yatse the other day and I am wondering if tis possible to change the notification time-out for the SMS plugin ? I presumed it would be a skin setting, but searching this forum I think its controlled by the program sending the message ( http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=155651 ) ( http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=JSON-RPC_API/v6#GUI.ShowNotification )

would it be possible in a future version to get an option to set the timeout?

Thanks either way.

no pressure tolriq you doing amazing job Big Grin

RE: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - Tolriq - 2013-02-25

@Saner : ATM I use EventServer for notifications so no way to specify timeout Smile

This will only change when changing the internal Yatse plugin API so not really soon Smile

No problem, thanks for the speedy answer.

RE: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - Josh98 - 2013-02-26

Hi all, having an issue here.

Love Yatse as a player and it was working great, but recently I've had issues with it constantly disconnecting. I think this issue is present with the standard XBMC Remote too so I don't think it's within the app itself.

It's constantly timing out by the looks of things and when it is connected I am constantly having to push buttons more than once to get a response. Evertime it disconnects and reconnects the page Yatse is on switches. Driving me mad!

Setup:
XBMC Frodo - Jan 28 build.
Nexus 7.

Things tried:
- Changing port.
- Changing user & pass.
- Disabling firewall on PC and AdBlock on tablet.

Can only think it maybe a router setting?

RE: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - Tolriq - 2013-02-26

I doubt your router settings have changed recently alone Smile

Have you tried uninstall Adblock at all ?

In 4.2.2 they change some things about apps that use the proxy hack to secure http transaction maybe this has broken something in the apps like adblock that rely on this.

Thanks for reply, yep got rid of it for now and still not change. Can't imagine it'd make a difference but running a custom ROM (Paranoid Android) 4.2.2.

I'll install the app and try it on my Nexus 4, don't want to use it normally but at least it'll help work out if it's a problem tablet side as apposed to network/XBMC or PC.

EDIT:
Installed at set it up on my 4. Doesn't appear to be losing connection in the same way, but some button presses are still unreponsive, guessing that's a separate issue.
Also, is it normal for the 'light' in the top left hand corner of Yatse to stay white until something plays?

RE: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - Tolriq - 2013-02-26

Some buttons uses Event server so UDP port 9777 Smile

Yes the left icon is white when connected green when playing and red when not connected.
