I have some FeatureRequests for a better PVR-section:
1. Make a separate Entry in the Sidebar for "PVR"
that you can access the PVR-section (channels) directly and not via "Remote" -> PVR

2. Save the channellist and Icons and do not reload it from Kodi eveytime you go to "TV Channels"
The channel list does not change often Wink and then the load times are much better

3. Make it optional if you "switch to channel" or "open channel-EPG" if you click on a channel in PVR
I'd recommend "open channel-EPG", then you can switch to the channel with the buttons from 5.

4. Add a EPG-view like this: http://online.tvgenial.com/
Then you have THE TV-magazine on your tablet Wink

5. new Buttons for EPG
If 4. is implemented, you can view the EPG entry with a "click" and there should be a Button "Switch to channel" and "record"

Hi,

I've seen some interest in a Denon receiver plugin, so I thought I'd let you know that a Denon/Marantz plugin is now available:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.vindvejr.plugin.avreceiver.denon

While it should work with all networked receivers, there are slight differences in volume handling, so I'm maintaining a list of supported receivers to handle these variations correctly. Let me know if your receiver is not on the list.

Best regards,
Jacob Laursen

I can't get the Yamaha Plugin to connect to my receiver from my tablet.

I put the correct IP on the settings but when I test the settings I always get the message: "failed to connect to /198.168.0.80 (port 80): connect failed: EHOSTUNREACH (No route to host)@.

If I telnet from the tablet to the port 50000 on the receiver or I open the web address on chrome, I can send commands without problems. I can also connect from a phone on the same network, but the tablet doesn't work.

The tablet is a bq Edison 2 Quad Core on Android 4.2.2 and the receiver is a Yamaha RX-V475

You can check my debug log at https://www.dropbox.com/s/gzruijdwl6v6zbf/debug.log?dl=1

Any idea what the problem could be?

Thanks.

Well the error is quite clear, your android device does not know how to access this ip.

Since this happens at OS level it's not related to plugin, you need to check firewall / adblock any root tools you may have played with.

It's not rooted and I can access the ip though web and the official yamaha remote app.

I guess it could be an Android bug. I'll check if there is any updated firmware for the tablet.

Thanks.

/192.168 etc is wrong. An IP address does not have a leading /.

Also if port 50000 works, why have you set port 80 as the destination?

In short your settings seem AFU.

I'm not entering a / in front of the IP, that's just what the log says. I have tried on port 80, 50000 and not entering a port, and it always fails. On my phone with the exact same settings it's working so it must have something to do with my tablet.

Haha, Is there a way i can fix this?

RE: Yatse - Full featured Kodi/XBMC Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - Tolriq - 2015-09-02

Well Yatse sends the correct command so the problem relies on Kodi side Smile

For example on Android there's no shutdown possible in Kodi base, and AFAIK on some linux distribution there's some problems too due to permissions.

Im using Kodi on Windows 10. And yatse on my android phone. I recently switched phones coming from iOS and i used Sybu there and there it worked perfectly so don't know what the problem is Sad
