Something like this would be kickass.

I put this together a while back and kind of forgot about it Rolleyes It lets you watch some of the shows from http://www.myoutdoortv.com/.

I couldn't figure an easy way to scrape the list of shows(there's a lot) from the website but if there's a show you would like for me to add let me know.

Download Zip - http://divingmules-repo.googlecode.com/files/plugin.video.outdoortv-0.0.1.zip

RE: Hunting shows - wwldman - 2012-06-24

I am very new and just got an apple tv. I tried to install this a source and it did not work. Can someone help a newbie??

RE: Hunting shows - divingmule - 2012-06-25

Download the zip file from above, place it somewhere you can browse to in the XBMC file manager.
Start XBMC >System>System Settings>Add-ons>Install from zip file.

RE: Hunting shows - wwldman - 2012-07-08

I'm Not sure if I'm doing this right. I went to xbmc, settings, file manager, I then added that long http address and saved it. I then backed out to settings, then get add ons, install from zip, I highlighted the one I just added then selected it and nothing. If anyone has the patience and time to help walk me through this please let me know. Thanks.

I know I must be doing a step wrong. I needed help jail breaking this Apple TV as well.

Thanks for this.
I just stumbled across this while i was searching for wild tv addon. This outdoors tv addon works great on my nexus 7 with xbmc 12.0 rc2 also works on my pc with xbmc 11.0. But i only get audio on my raspberry pi with xbmc 12.0 rc3. Any idea or a work around would be much appreciated.
Also do you know of anyone working on an addon for wild tv which has live streaming at wildtv.ca
Thanks

RE: Hunting shows - woodypecker - 2013-01-14

Hm. No hunters or fisherman would like this?

RE: Hunting shows - woodypecker - 2013-01-15

Is it possible that i need a vc-1 codec for my raspberry pi to get video on outdoors tv or is it another issue?

RE: Hunting shows - divingmule - 2013-01-16

I'm not sure, you might ask in the r-pi support forum. It seems the codec used is vp6, you'll notice something like this in the xbmc.log when starting a video -

CDVDVideoCodecFFmpeg::Open() Using codec: On2 VP6 (Flash version)

i just found out openelec doesnt support vp6 codec

RE: Hunting shows - hunt2live - 2013-04-13

This sounds awesome!!!!!!!! Now I just need to know how to get it added to my ATV2, I did what the other user did and typed the zip address into my file manager on atv2 and then when to "get add on from zip file" and used the address I typed in and nothing. If someone knows how to get this on my ATV2 that would be great, I am in desperate need of hunting shows

RE: Hunting shows - skydiver - 2014-01-29

Has anyone subscribed to the MOTV subscription service? It supposedly has HD video on demand. I would like to be able to enter a username/password in the XBMC add-on to access this subscription content but obviously the current version of the plugin doesn't support authentication and I don't know if the video is going to be DRM'd in a way that cannot be played back on Xbmc Frodo on Ubuntu.
