The XML document the plugin uses to pull the movies hasn't been updated on the apple site since 2/11: http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/home/xml/current.xml
I'm not sure if that means apple changed something or if there just haven't been new trailers.

No there have been plenty of new trailers ... it's weird cause it did update some of the "new" trailers but by far not all of them. I got the Trailers App on my iPhone as well and it just works fine. Almost every day new trailers. I can use Airplay to watch them in my xmbc but this is not what I wanted... It seems that Apple changed something since the App for Smartphones came out a couple of months ago cause I got problems with the xbmc app since then... Maybe someone can take a better look at it? I have no clou about anything like programing or what ever... would be much appreciated!! Cheers
Maybe it is possible to catch the update by the smartphone app? As I said ... know nothing bout programing ^^

Yes, the xml source the scraper module uses won't be updated anymore.
I am working on a complete rewrite of the Add-on which uses an different source.

I've got good and bad news regarding the rewrite:
Good:
- I found a new source for up2date trailers
- I found a way to get fanarts (~1000px width) from apple and a possibility to set them in xbmc from python
- The new plugin will be much faster (especially on slow machines like rpi)
Bad:
- Setting cast from python is broken since Frodo
- The new source has no plot available
I also need to know if support for couchpotato v1 is still needed.

Though obviously cast & plot are nice to have, especially for trailers, but IMO I'll be thrilled just getting the improvements on your "good" list. Thanks for your work.

Cast and plot I can live without (they are only trailers after all).
And I only use CouchPotato V2 now.

Couch potato v2 is good enough. And I agree with hitcher, no point for plot and cast for trailers. An image and the ability to play said trailer is enough lol.
