[WINDOWS] XBMC Flicks stream to a uPNP TV - Bravia - Willosy - 2012-01-25 Hey There Guys, I'm very new to XBMC and uPNP capable TV's. I'm looking to do the whole unblock us thing and stream some content to my bravia. If I enable the XBMC FLicks add-on, can I then access or stream that content to my Bravia via the in-built upnp server in XBMC?? Cheers Willosy - Willosy - 2012-01-27 Bump...... - jhsrennie - 2012-01-27 No. The XBMC uPnP server will only stream content that is in the database, and it isn't possible to add content from add-ons to the database because XBMC doesn't know the URL for them. It might be possible if you can play the content using a .strm file (see http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Strm). JR |
