Music Library view, view by Genre>Album - jason.stonier - 2012-02-01
Hopefully an easy one - I've searched but can't find an answer, possibly because I can't define the search very well.
Using Dharma and the confluence skin on XBMC Live.
I am viewing my music in Library mode as I quite often select music by Genre. When I select Genre, the listing then comes up listed by Artist, but I want it to come up by Album.
I can't find a way to do this - is it possible?

XBMC can use external players, but the bit of the display you're talking about i.e. showing stuff from the library is all controlled by XBMC. I don't know this bit of the code, so I'm not sure if the Genres -> Artists -> Albums sequence can be changed without having to modify and recompile XBMC itself. It certainly wouldn't be trivial to do.

Ok, that is a big shame.
Worth putting in as a feature request? Sounds like quite a fundamental change: I'm surprised if I'm the first person to wish for this.
