No able to get cover art information - marensius - 2012-02-20

I'm not able to get any coverart data from the movieDB or TVDB etc... I have a number of tv series stored on a NAS server. The database is built to follow the structure suggested at the XBMC Wiki site. I also have a popcorn Hour player linked to the same database and it's working perfectly.

When I'm setting up the appleTV 2... i'm not getting any cover art information. I have tried different guides... like this:http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Adding_videos_to_the_library/Adding_media_sources

What can I be doing wrong?

Did you follow all the steps in the wiki guide? There's one before it about naming files, then there's one after it about "Set content" and running a scan.

I will check out the "set content" guide, but I have also read that other people are struggling with the same thing and that they have to do scanning manually?

Anyway I will try the "Set content" guide.

Thanks

If you want it to work then you have to start here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Adding_videos_to_the_library/Naming_files

All of those pages in the right hand box are apart of the same guide, and jumping to a step in the middle won't work.
