We got many TV-Stations here switching between 4:3 and 16:9 anamorphic during the day. However XBMC seem not being able to recognize the changing pixel-format from 1:1 to 1:1.33 and back during playback, causing distorted videos unless you fix it by hand.

Can you post a log? I need some info on what decoders are involved in this scenario.
