i tried to fix the pico path, but i still see no picons
in older versions everything worked. On my Dreambox the picons work.

In the settings.xml file (this file is in the pvr.vuplus/resources addon folder) fix the typo:

If no picon path is selected, then the addon should fetch the picons from the webinterface automatically. Can you see the picons in your webinterface?
u mean i must see the Picon in (192.168.0.20:8080 for my michine ) ? sry how works this
and this is my Path for my Picons ( /home/xbmc/Downloads/Picons/ )
can u give me pls the complete xml ? i have test u 2 lines , but i think i do some thinks wrong

I am using Open Elec with the Aeon Nox Skin and I also get no PICONS :-( I have 4500 in the directory!

The PR which should fix this has not been merged yet, so it isn't included in openelec yet, too.

Hi,
I´m on OpenELEC 3.0.2 with VU+ 1.6.7 and Aeon Nox 4.
The Add-on works great, but i get no picons
The Picons on my Dreambox (7020HD & Newnigma2) are working perfect and are stored in /picons/piconHD (Dreambox).
In the VU+-addon and the Live-TV settings from xbmc, i didn´t select a picon-path (the pvr client should pull the picons from the dreambox?!)
I also changed the settings.xml.
Everything worked before with local picons, but it stopped working.
How can i fix the picons?

I have installed a new set of Picons on my Vu+ that has open PLI installed but the channel icons in XBMC are not replaced with the new Picons.
How can I force XBMC to replace my old channel icons with the new set of Picons ?

I already tried to reset the PVR data base but this is not working.
I even removed the EPG and the TV data base from the XBMC user directory but also this does not work.

Regarding the error on VU+ Enigma2 PVR add-on "Connection lost":
Not sure if this helps... but the issue I had is very similar to one described earlier..
I'm on Frodo 12.1 on one PC & 12.2. on a second PC.
I got constant "connection lost" on Enigma2 PVR add-on.
After hours of fiddling I finally recalled that I had just updated to a new OpenPli image on my DM 7025+ which has a bug in the OpenWebIf.
Here's the fix that solved both issues on my XBMC AND on my 7025

Downside of this is that the channel switching time is very slow with it - so you have to decide whether you want to enable it or not (in the addon settings).
I won't open a PR to lars to inlcude these changes until I tested it a littlebit further and there are some changes made within XBMC to speed up the channel change again, so if you want to try it then you will need to compile it yourselves.
Any credits for this timeshift support has to go to manül - this already works much better then the shot I had at it a couple of month ago
