XBMC hangs on start, only black screen, not responding - User 77906 - 2012-03-12
OSX Version: 10.7.3
Platform: iMac, 3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, with a ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB graphic card.
Install Method: dmg
SVN Revision: 11.0-RC2 Git:20120229-f38655f
Sometimes, when I start XBMC I only got a black screen and a spinning cursor, nothing happens, and XBMC is not
responding. When I restart it a couple of times, it works, but it's really annoying. Sometimes it start immediately. I
attached the log in both cases. There is no crashreport generated.
Here is the log when it hangs.
Here everything is good.

It would be worth disabling your path substitution of userdata to your smb share. This is typically not recommended as various issues *may* occur, particularly with add-ons.

I think the problem caused that built in Lion web server was enabled. I turned off and did not experienced the problem yet. Not sure tough.
