Anybody having issues with getting the new version to load, go into settings and choose a Theme.

Edit: I've just uploaded a fix, hopefully that'll fix it.

Won't play for me at the mo- just says check my date / time - all of which seem ok, xbmc and system time seem to match ok. Nightly XBMC build -
xbmc-20120702-4bc215e-master-i386.dmg

Can you post you log file please as it'll have more details Smile

Debug log here:

Cheers

This is really weird as there isn't actually any error being reported in the log. Can you give it another try, see if it works. If it doesn't I'll do a special debug version so I can try and trace where it's going wrong.

Edit: I've just updated the version in the repo with some more error reporting. Can you give it a try please?

Hey fella- got that log for you:

http://pastebin.com/8PGCAMgp

Error message reads differently now -

"PLAYBACK LINK ERROR

Error- No details or Commands Provided!"

It also doesn't seem to keep my settings- have to put user name and password for tic in each time.

Yea, we saw this issue yesterday here. It's quite a long thread, but the long and the short of it is that for some reason, on some machines there seems to be a problem writing the settings. If you go to the userdata/plugin_data/script.tvcatchup folder and edit the settings.xml file and make sure you put your username and password in, then save it and try again.

Edit: The error message is because I edited the code on the server to try and work out what was wrong Smile

RE: [RELEASE] TVCatchup.com 2.0 with EPG - Shoesy - 2012-07-07

Doesn't make much difference to me whether the settings are kept or not, as no streams play regardless.

RE: [RELEASE] TVCatchup.com 2.0 with EPG - dj_gerbil - 2012-07-07

The problem is that if it doesn't store the settings correctly then the information won't get sent to the server. Did you try editing the settings manually? Also, what's your OS? (I'm trying to see if there's a pattern you see)

RE: [RELEASE] TVCatchup.com 2.0 with EPG - Shoesy - 2012-07-07

Sorry- yes editing the settings.xml file and adding the username / password manually sorted the problem out. I'm running Mac os X Lion. (10.7.4).

So are you saying that it's now working for you??

Edit: Just checked the Server Log and it says you got a stream link so hopefully it's working for you Smile

Does anyone else notice that when you click on TVCatchup from the main menu, it takes up to 15 seconds to load? Could this be because I have enabled silent update mode?

Nope because if it was updating the EPG data before opening the plugin it would tell you Smile Depending on your system specs it's most likely the time it takes to load the database into memory. If it's not already switched on, turn on the Loading Bar in the settings as that will give a visual indicator of what's happening in the plugin.

Hey Gerbil, was there any progress on putting a small vid in the corner while you're viewing the guide like in the TV Guide addon?
